Passion! I like it. This was the coaches fault....PERIOD. Fourteen seconds is a lot of time to run off and it's borderline taunting. Run the ball or take a knee.

Lol- You never want to show up the opposition like that... It never ends well. It's an ugly part of competition but it happens. That being said, Barnett got the flag and removed (haha) the dumba$$ coach for Ensworth is out for the next game and should have known better. The sissy boy announcers... Well you heard them, they've never been on the field before so you can't expect them to "get it". It's really almost comical. It doesn't make Barnett a better or worse prospect imo.

Punk move by Barnett but it happens. I'd be mad too if I were an Ensworth player. Coach can't get too involved to get suspended and Barnett needs to learn how to compete properly.

Garbage little punk can't even get into Vandy probably, much less ApSU. Piece of filth. I hope the press box floor rots during his next game and he falls through and breaks his leg.

Eh it was a late push but not terribly late how fast he was closing on him -- definitely not anything to get excited over. It's more amazing to me that it caused such a ruckus on the sideline.

Play started with 8 seconds left - it was fourth down. Taking a knee would have given BA the ball back, so Ensworth sophomore qb was just running out the clock. Actually a smart play. Reason Ensworth got a little upset about the late hit from behind is that the qb missed all of last year with a cracked vertebrae in his lower back. Doubt that Barnett knew that or was otherwise targeting the qb's back, but I can understand them being a little touchy about it. Just an unfortunate situation all around.

If he cracked his vertebrae in HS, he shouldn't be playing SEC football even if he intends on going to Vandy. The kid shouldn't even be playing HS ball anymore truth be told but if he must go on to the next level he doesn't need to be in the SEC.

He's an ass IMO too. I wish TSSAA did state like FL does and made the private schools play the public schools for the state title. I'd love to see these prep school kids with resources out their ass get it handed to them. A Fulton-Ensworth matchup (assuming they'd fall in the same class) would be great.

Brentwood Academy is the reason for the split. In the 80's and 90's when they were only A and AA. They were beating the brains out of public schools. They later went to the highest class and won another title. There were very few public schools that could compete. Alcoa and Austin East were very good teams. Ensworth is very good. They could be beat by a few schools like maybe Maryville or one of the Murfreesboro schools.

Nashvillians need to grow a pair and stick with a team instead of just bouncing back and forth to whoever is on top at the moment. I always said that town does not have the character of Knoxville, and it shows when I hear smarmy little garbage Ensworthless announcers run their yap about stupid, insignificant little Vanderbutt.
