+100 It's not just the trolls, because I just put them on ignore. It's the combination of trolls and our Vol fans that argue with them that wind up hijacking the threads, especially in recruiting. Then you have to scroll thru pages & pages to find any useful info.

I can deal with it, but guys like LV & Sab may have had enough.

He didn't really say. I know some guys over on VQ were giving him some grief about how he takes info from there and posts it here. Don't know if that is why or not, but that's the way I saw it.

I appreciate that this is a free board and the efforts of Eric, but the main complaint that I have and many posters I have seen on TOS is the Mods don't get involved enough and cull some of the threads. But overall compred to other free sites, VN is a fantastic site.

Screw TOS for thinking just because they pay a monthly subscription that the information is somehow exclusive to them. This information is not copyrighted, most of it is rumor anyway and just because Joe the Bluechip says he is going to visit here or play there doesn't mean they're the only ones privileged to the info. I seriously doubt a recruit tells Hubbs that "hey, I want you to make a buck or two off of what am about to tell ya" so if they want to pay for that than fine but don't get mad because the info found its way to VN.

I would love to donate to Freak but he runs this site because he is a true fan not to fatten his wallet like TOS so if some people don't come back, that's up to them but posters over there shouldn't hate on someone for sharing something they don't rightfully own.

I have no problem with LV but I've only been around a couple of months and remember only one prediction and that was Jeff Luc was a Vol lock. Didn't work out.
Good luck LV and let's talk about somethin more important like my next beverage.

i was kidding about LV... he will be back when things calm down. he is hanging out on TOS because they get info faster over there.

and as far as the Jeff Luc thing goes, LV posted that because flvol53 over on TOS said it was a done deal. that guy knows his stuff.

IANAL, but if the owners or mods choose to copyright their content, they can do something about it.

Random posts by users is likely a different story, but possibly could be protected. Again, I'm not a lawyer.

Charging for the content has no bearing on the copyright.

They would just need to pursue the infringers. Ask the RIAA how best to handle that.
