Vol Starters - 5477#, Sooner Starters - 5609# - Not such a big deal IMO! Thought it would be interesting to see if the Okies were as big and bad as the hype! I have totaled the weights of all 22 offensive and defensive starters projected for both teams. Now let's compare the units opposing each other. The offensive starters for Tennessee have a combined weight of 2876 pounds. The defensive starters for Oklahoma have a combined weight of 2714 pounds. The offensive starters for Oklahoma have a combined weight of 2895#. The defensive starters for Tennessee have a combined weight of 2601 pounds. So our offense outweighs their defense by 162 pounds. Their offense outweighs our defense by 294 pounds. Wonder if quickness will come into play? Go, Vols!

How dare you come in here with facts! I've done this for weeks, but have been shut down because all the negavols are praying for a Tennessee loss.

Next thing you know, you'll be talking about how our 3rd down defense is among the best in the country.

Weight really doesn't mean $h!t - comparisons of weight were made last year in attempts to make an argument that we stacked up against Oregon similar to Stanford (who beat them). The end result? We got smoked like the finest grass around!!

At the end of the day Oklahoma stacks up favorably against us in nearly every facet. To win we will need an ungodly thirst for victory and some luck against a hopefully uninspired OU team.

Glad you think we can win. Copy the Hokies and the Battle of Bristol will outdraw the Super Bowl!

Hope all of their players get ahold of that grass...

Have you calculated their pounds per inch of height?

Body fat % would be a more accurate way to tell what team will win.... J/K Really..... Someone actually weighed all the starters to see what team had the "biggest" advantage???? I have seen it all now....

If a half-assed remix of a ****ty song is our saving grace on defense, then we might as well forfeit the season...

It helps.. Whether u like it or not.. It's taking advantage of home field.

The opposite of hand sitting.
