I guess?

It's the schools academic colors I suppose(if there is even, a such thing). But as far as I'm concerned, if it's listed by the UT system as an official school color, it should be fair game for the athletics as well.

from the last time you posted the same link

The Athletic Department has a different Style Guide, BTW.

The official Style Guide for both UT and the UTAD states that the black color listed should only be used for rendering text, and should not be used in coloration of logos. The information posted was a logo sheet, not a complete style and usage guide.

It's still used on the uniforms. Football wears black socks and shoes and has black as an accent color on the away's, and basketball uses black as an accent color for both the home and away unis.

And besides, there are a lot of teams now-a-days that use their accent colors as an alternate uniform.

OK, and here again ^ this was right after I said orange is tradition, to me, this is you implying that I'm wrong, and that orange isn't a tradition, I'm wrong, correct me

That is someone typing the words, "Who decides what is traditional?" Black is not mentioned. Orange is not mentioned. White is not mentioned. You are not mentioned. Nick's website reference was not mentioned. It was a question. "Who decides what is traditional?"

If I haven't made it clear this time I don't know what else I can type. Just to be safe, no person, color or colorful person was mentioned in this particular post. I have never, under any circumstances, said, "Black is a traditional color for the University of Tennessee at Knoxville."

If the colors come from the American Daisy, then our traditional color should be more of a yellow orange. I here people complain that the new jersey has a more yellow orange look to it, and I think it was more of a yellow orange in the 80's (watch the 86 Sugar Bowl) I really don't know what our traditional look should be. Can anyone tell me what our traditional look should look like?

Oh dear.....

YA, you got me, i'm guilty of being right, that orange and white are our traditional colors, for ALMOST a century

Guilty of being right? What exactly were you right about?

Ron Mexico said black was a tradition - nope, wrong

UT hadn't worn black as a primary uniform in a century - nope, wrong

There's probably something else, but I have to leave and can't take the time to look it up.

How many paragraphs was that?

No, I'm just kidding. I just want you to admit to making up stuff about me, that you hate UT, American freedom, puppies, popsicles, all things good and this website.

I love my vols, obviously, love my freedom, hate puppies and popsicles, and love this website..........as far as your concerned :snoring:
