If we every where anything camo I will never cheer for UT in any sport again. Camo is the ugliest and an extremely tacky redneck design for sporting.

how about a camo look for the nc state game--similar to these titans jerseys!!

Michigan State sells extra/outdated gear and equipment through a surplus store.

Does UT do anything like this?

Yes, UT sells used jerseys and other equipment at the store inside Neyland Stadium that I've mentioned in the Checkerboard undershirt thread.

20-40 dollar tshirts. Can't stomach to even look at the hoodies.

Can get a smokey dog for 7.50 and a coke is what 10.

Stadium prices make gas station prices seem reasonable.

I can't argue with you about the hot dog prices, but the tshirts and other gear in the stadium store are the exact same price as you will find for the same product at any other store in Knoxville or online, Adidas requires it.

Praise be to adidas. Still pretty pricey.

I'm pretty sure they sell stuff in the stadium store.

Thanks. I will have to check it out next time I am in town.

I like the way MSU does this online and all of the different items that are available. Click on that link in my previous post sometime....I have bought a lot of great stuff through there over the years. (computers, furniture, looking at a truck there now)

It is so ridiculous! But i feel like they do it to make money but for other reasons also.. the concourses are always packed where ive seen them, like gridlock traffic! So imagine if the prices were normal, like 2 bucks for a hotdog or 1.50 for a drink.. i just feel like it would be impossible to get your food it would be so busy

I agree. In TN, state law requires all excess property like that to be sold at auction. Athletic equipment is exempt from that because it doesn't get an state ID tag.

Under the previous partner, now-defunct ESports, they sold old game-used jerseys online, but since their distribution center was in Texas, they could only offer them online OR in store.

Under the current setup, the UT Bookstore runs all on-campus sales and is allowed to have their own website, whereas Fans.com is our "official" online retailer that is linked from the UTSports.com website. So it's completely separate companies. Each gets to do what they do best to maximize revenue.
