Omg I never post, but black in uniforms.. Get real we r O n W. Absolutely no black ever. Black is just plain ugly. We R The Big Orange, not some school that doesn't know their colors. Why in the he double ll would anyone want uniforms as ugly as Oregon's ? Or anyone that chooses to not honor their schools color.....

for all yall people that preach tradition i am with you but heres the thing in the 20s we did wear black so in fact its as much if not more so of a tradition than orange and white and the way i see it yall that dont like black get orange and white every game so why cant we have a black uniform one game a season....?

Because our colors are ORANGE n WHITE. Note the listing in the Tennessee history any of them. The colors does not add black, or the flowers they were chosen from did not grow in black either...

Yes different combinations. The combinations of orange and white jerseys with orange and white pants and thats it. I did like the black jerseys but maybe only like once every 3-4 years for a big hyped up game.

I cant believe some of these people post on the internet, i mean tradition is crapping in the outhouse and using candle light. Why are you using these non-traditional bathrooms, pc's and electricity? Black is a traditional color for us no matter how many want to say its not. I hope the new coach is open to new things and modern times in addition to traditions

I'd be fine with possibly outlining the power T, the helmet stripe, and the numbers in black, just to add a little more boldness and definition to the look and possibly a black uniform when a game falls on Halloween. But I wouldn't want to take it any further than that.

Ok, how would you feel if they stopped doing the Vol Walk, or took away the T to run through, or the checkerboard endzones? Those things weren't around when they wore black, so I guess we can do away with them, too, right?

Tradition is what most schools are built on. If you don't like ours ( TN ) then don't go or watch. We are n always will b the Big Orange, n not with black. These schools that are always changing uniforms have no idea what Tradition means, no one teaches them to respect it or the school....

No x's 100 . omg what has happened to anyone wanting to change our colors. We r Big Orange n always will b. Why do ppl keep wanting to mess with tradition ? Next it will b get rid of the power T or make it black. Teach tradition to all sports, n that includes our colors

Chrome helmets, chrome jerseys, chrome pants, chrome socks, chrome shoes, and especially chrome gloves.

Chrome water bottles and chrome sideline gear, as well.
