His inspiration is said to have come from orange and white daisies which grew on the Hill. To this day there are still orange and white flowers grown outside the University Center. two jerseys:
Black with orange numbers and white trim, White with orange numbers and black trim.

two pants:
Black with orange stripe and white trim, White with orange stripe and black trim.

two helmets:
Metallic black gloss with orange power T, White gloss with orange power T

The matte looks good but EVERYONE is going to it. Staying original gloss will be unique in a year or two.

Totally down with 1903 uni's. No reason we cant have a black jersey, with orange T, and Tan or Charcoal Gray Shoulder trims. FWIW, this was worn after dude picked the school colors in 1889. Would be an awesome throwback look.

I thought our colors were orange and white? What the hell is it with all this black ch it! It all stems from our baseball teams unis. Its almost taken over every piece of apparel..sickening!

I am also in favor of bringing the old UT (intertwined) logo back! It looked so much more illustrious at the 50 yard line than the power T .. It looks cheap and generic...you can clearly see the white chalked yard line going all the way through it...looks horrible.

..and while we are at it...How about we get rid of that stupic, tacky JUUUUMBOOOOTROOOON! lol Bring back the old lit up V O L S...I loved the way it hovered over the TN river...much tougher and ritch-in-tradition!

Checked out this thread for the first time today. I had no idea people got so butthurt over changing it up every now and then. I don't think anyone wants to go with all black for every single game, so what's the issue with throwing it in sparingly? Lightning won't strike Neyland Stadium if the boys have a blackout game! Some of the designs I've seen are sick. Love the checkerboard helmet as well.

And while we're at it, (whatever that is), get rid of the white shoes. I hate the white shoes for some reason, (even though I think we wore them in '98). Tennessee just looks better in black shoes.

Okay, I feel better. Been wanting to say this for some time.

I don't hate Adidas by any means but I will say that I feel like Nike puts way more and better apparel out for fans. Also, I would be fine with either but the main argument is to mix it up. I don't think that it's Adidas's fault for not being able to do that. Look at what they did with some other schools Michigan, UCLA, Wisconsin and Nebraska, Notre Dame, Mississippi State and Texas A&M and the list does on. I believe it's just our AD not wanting to budge on it. I am a believer that alternate jerseys excite the fan base and the players and I'm all for it.

Hey,Volfans! I`m 100% behind wearing badazz unis 2-3x a year,but keeping our traditional unis 75% of season. I believe it would create positive publicity and result in a few more recruits giving us a look. COULD ANYONE TELL ME HOW 2 EASILY FIND SOME DESIGNS? I`M ON MOBILE SO NAVIGATION IS DIFF. THANKS!
