I know we are Tennessee and our history speaks for itself, but I think given our current situation of losing and down times, we need to re-brand ourselves. I personally believe that the recent jersey pictures with some tweaking would be a good start. If Adidas wants to keep us as a client, they need to come up with some good ideas and put them out on the field. Now I'm not saying we turn into Maryland (which I love what they did, they really re-branded their program.....even if you don't like the jerseys, it's working for them) or Oregon, but give us some different options for big games. Three or four times a season and then in a bowl, let's do something a little different......oh, and most importantly, WIN!

Not sure if this would look quite right but I thought it looked really sweet on the Oregon guy. Think you could mock this up in orange and white? I know it would be tough to blend the two colors like they did the yellow and green but I just would like to see what fun you could have with it.

I really hope we switch to Nike or under armour !!! We would have a lot nicer
Stuff after that a lot more designs and colors in our jerseys

It's like some people don't even bother to read what other people post in this thread. It's been well established that adidas has offered up alternate uniforms for UT to wear, but the AD and football coaches have rejected all of them. Unlike what seems like most of the fanbase, at least the people in charge over there are still aware the UT's colors are orange and white. Not orange, white, black, grey, chrome and carbon fiber.

the gloves have silver on them. does that ruin your entire Vols football watching experience?

Wow calm down man I'm just saying Nike and under armour is better made stuff than Adidas ?? For th fans and the players and nobody said anything about all those colors I think w should just do more things with orange and white!!! And black occasionally so next time take a deep breath before posting

I was just refuting the notion that the reason we don't have alternate jerseys is because adidas doesn't design or offer them to us. DP has said numerous times that's not the case. Even if we did switch to Nike or UA, other than the brand logo on the jersey, you wouldn't know any difference, because the combinations we have now are exactly what the administration and coaches want them to be.

Im not big on uniform changes but our road unis need more color. This looks great. I know we have always had white helmets but this looks so much better. I wouldnt mind the black one above used for special games like kickoff classic or aniversary/holiday games etc. Just once every year or two.

It could be done in a checker board fade.
Full orange squares at the bottom, fading to less full as you go up.
The alternate squares full white at the top, fading to less full squares as you go down.
You could even add another layer of black or gray full squares at the bottom fading up into the white fade.
Could look cool, would go well with the carbon fiber helmets both the orange and the white ones. The carbon fiber kinda has a checkerboard feel to it.

There will be silver or chrome involved in the new uni. I am basing this off a new hat I bought today at Alumni Hall in Murfreesboro. The guy said they just got them in and never had this color scheme before. Sorry the pic is sideways.

I dunno I've seen something similar to that hat for years here at the local mall.
