My favorite so far is the latest creation by CleVol with the power T incorporated into the jersey. I doubt it would be acceptable by the NCAA though because the numbers are to difficult to make out.
Cool idea, I do think it could work better with the numbers on a right or left "chest pocket" position but great job regardless!
ClevVol, a question if you don't mind. is your board name based on your having Cleveland roots or your use of Clevo based computers?
Heh, don't mind at all. It is from me being from and currently living in the great little black hole of the SE corner of Tennessee known as Cleveland. : )> Now onto working on these mock ups I promised last night...back shortly, late start to my morning.
Thanks for answering. I peek at your really GREAT work from time to time and really love it. I harbor hope that the UT is watching and will pay your for uniform themes. Almost allof them (except the grey stuff) I'd love see our Vols hit the field dressed in your designs. I believe your outfits would create a huge media buzz if the UT has the guts to buy and implement them.
If I may, I'd like to suggest what even I must confess is an absurd marketing idea. Partner with a seamstress or fabric business to actually make affordable outfits of your designs to sell to game attending fans. You'd probably have to skimp on fabric choices and foam padding to make them affordable. . . BUT. This would be a big advertising bonus and sure to catch the eye coaches etc as well national TV cameras. The result could be some serious business for you.
And here are these, taking in the few changes y'all asked for tweeked a little:
I also turned the facemask to a grey, and added the new Vol football logo to the sleeves of the one with the checkers on the shoulders, which I warmed up to after seeing it all in place. It's the checkered pattern off the black jersey, which I've still needing to do those in black, grey, orange, white for shiggles. : )>
Love the second one! If it's not to hard could that one be done in orange.
Just a matter of flipping around some colors and creating some new layers... can/will probably do it in grey and black as well. As I mocked up this one, I saw a few different ways to do the shoulders, keeping orange and white in them along with making the jerseys the 4 colors, and then also to do either white or orange checker pattern with the color of the 4 jerseys showing through in the shoulders (like the black and orange, but also grey and the others). I will try to do more of these and post through the day.
And some more:
