so. many. wide. receivers.

gotta be a record

I'm gonna take another one for Tampa just to spite you, LMFAO!!!!

But seriously, I have a pretty good idea who's coming off the board as soon as Regulator picks. Depends on him, though.

based on that, I didn't bother trading up...figured people would keep doing that and my guy would drop

With the 50th pick in the 2014 VolNation NFL Mock Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington

"With the top guards and quarterbacks off the board and having selected Mike Evans in the first round, there's not much filling of needs the Bucs can do at this position. So in comes Austin Seferian-Jenkins, a top-notch physical talent who can be an explosive downfield threat as well as a very good in-line blocker -- when he gives the effort. Jeff Tedford loves multiple personnel groups and multiple formations, but the Bucs lack a truly multidimensional tight end to be able to properly execute that strategy. Plus, another huge target can only help Josh McCown, or whichever quarterback Lovie Smith eventually decides to draft. If the Bucs think they can get Seferian-Jenkins to play hard and focus on football, he could be just what they need."

-Sander Philipse, BucsNation

"Tampa Bay has six tight ends on its roster, and none of them are better than Seferian-Jenkins. He would add the same dimension to Lovie Smith's offense that Greg Olsen did for the Bears. He may not be a superstar Jimmy Graham-style tight end, but he's dependable and has enough athleticism to be a receiving threat. Seferian-Jenkins can work in the slot or in line and is solid blocker."

95 Vol Alum, you're up.......

(*side note: Admittedly, I was THIS close to taking Zach Mettenberger at 50. Mettenberger has been my pick for the last couple of days, I knew he wasn't gonna be off the board at 50.......but when I realized AS-J was there......and there's a QB that I think is gonna be better, and is gonna be available in R3 if my other choice is off the board*)

That guy is seventh round pick because he is a knucklehead. Armao, narveja are better

he's a 2nd/3rd round pick with a FA head. Take him in the 6th or 7th to make sure you get him, and if he doesn't work out, bye. I wanna see if a good staff with men all around can beat the moron out of him. If so, we've got an absolute STEAL.

I agree, unless you have too many other needs that must be addressed. You might be a Vontaze Burfict out of a pick like that.

We've got 9 in the Draft, and we do need to draft a TE, I'd just like to take our chances drafting talent low because it'll be available.

Crew ain't posted since the 29th. Gonna give him roughly 12 more hours (or until I wake up tomorrow morning) to pick.
