Bills take DT Louis Nix III. Bills have little need for him, but when a talent falls, you take it and figure it out later.

UGH. When Jernigan came off the board, I was like "okay, cool"....then ya just HAD to take Nix off the board. He wasn't making it past the Steelers, I guarantee ya that.

Burhead, you're on the clock.

With the 42nd pick in the NFL (Mock) Draft the Tennessee Titans select;

Tre Mason, RB, Auburn

Reasoning: With the release of CJ we really have no true threat at the running back position. Mason is a special talent and I couldn't pass it up at a position of need. He will work great being paired with our power back in Shonn Greene this year and with that my draft is finished.

005 ain't posted since the 22nd. So:

With the 44th pick in the 2014 VolNation NFL Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams select Marcus Roberson, CB, Florida.

zjcvols, you're up.

The Lions select Martavius Bryant, WR, Clemson

I was in a wedding with Stanton Seckinger this weekend. He's Clemson's TE.
We mostly talked about Brandon Thomas, but he also showed a lot of love for Bryant. He seemed really surprised that I told him he's a round 2 projection, but agreed that he's got a lot of "upside."

Cue the obligatory "cool story, bro."

With the 46th pick in the 2014 VolNation NFL Mock Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Allen Robinson, Wide Receiver, Penn State.

The Steelers land their big receiver for Big Ben.

In 2013, Robinson recorded 97 receptions for 1,432 yards and six touchdowns. The junior demonstrated nice quickness to get separation and run-after-the catch ability. He had many prolific games, including contests against Ohio State (12-173), Illinois (11-165) and Indiana (12-173).

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Robinson was one of the bright spots of the 2012 season for Penn State. He excelled in the Nittany Lions' new pro-style offense. Robinson hauled in 77 passes for 1,018 yards and 11 touchdowns after barely playing in 2011.
