That's fine
The San Francisco 49ers are proud to select
Kelvin Benjamin WR, FSU
I bet you wanted Benjamin, that's why I traded up
Actually, no. Benjamin is a pretty terrible route runner, and Cooks is very NFL-ready. I would have picked Cooks even if Benjamin was there. His size is impressive, but Cooks really does remind me a lot of Steve Smith.
The person I really wanted to fall was Zach Martin.
I don't like Cooks hands at all, and him being 5-8 doesn't helpIn the real draft, I hope the Panthers are of similar mind. Benjamin, in time, could be an excellent NFL WR, and a particularly effective weapon in the red zone. However, he's pretty raw and I wouldn't select him at #28. Maybe he falls late into the second round and I wouldn't object him being selected there.

I'm hardly the only person that ranks Cooks ahead of Benjamin.
I just pulled up WR rankings and CBS was the first site to come up on Google. CBS ranks Cooks as the #4 WR and Benjamin as the #10.
