I hope he does too. He will need to be Superman tough if he drives to the rim. Don’t need turnovers or bad shots from him on drives. He needs to look for his shot in transition if he has opportunities.

Auburn got a home floor call on at least one rebound last night. I recall once when the score was close, around four minutes left, where the Aggie got pushed into the cheerleaders… no call.

Auburn always gets the whistle at home. A@M’s point guard was fouled at least a dozen times last night and only got the whistle sparingly. Bruce gets the officials in his hip pocket from the tip with his overreact to any boarder line calls. (Which is every call according to Bruce) He looks like he’s going to stroke out with his reactions to officials decisions. Refs are so homer happy that’s why I’m worried tonight. It will be physical, just gotta hope they call it both ways.

We are 2-13 shooting from 3 at the half.

Their defense is pretty good (#10 on KenPom). We are going to have to have Aidoo and Awaka be difference-makers in the paint and shoot a respectable number from 3.

4 combined shots for these two at the half.

Probably a game where we need Knecht...and I never thought I'd say this, but...JJJ get some buckets going to the basket, because MSU is going to defend the perimeter.

MSU is locking us down on the perimeter and Knecht and JJJ have made little difference going to the basket.

This is why we were only 1.5 pt favorites. The Hump is a tough place to play and Tennessee is the hunted when they go into an opponent's gym.
