Zo needs to target somebody that is going to get this thing going. This bunch hasn't shown the killer instinct for 2+ years.

Typical 'Zo recruiting...I'm getting really tired of settling for the Yemis and Pops of the world.

I don't think they'll look for that kind of guy, they'll look for an impact guy. Or possibly a graduate transfer, like the guy Memphis got this year, or Kansas got in Black.

Why is everyone so big on bashing Cuonzo's recruiting? We've landed two 5-stars since he's been here....how many of those did we land in the previous 10 years?

4..... It's not the couple of high rated recruits but the fact we haven't had a top 25 class yet.

Looked over at Scout and, for some reason, I can't get it to show more than 25. It shows a next button, so maybe it will function later. Tennessee isn't in their top 25.

Kentucky (1), Florida (6), Missouri (22) and Alabama (25) are SEC schools on their list.

I hope Cuonzo gets some 5 stars like Crews and Smith

They only stayed two years, but you don't sign five stars expecting to get more than two years out of them. They weren't great offensive players, but they were 5 star defenders and they were key players in two straight Sweet 16 teams.

They surely had flaws as people, but - based on basketball ability only - both would be starting on any of Cuonzo's teams and have made them better. He'd love to have a PG and PF who defended like those guys.

I don't like espn at all for basketball recruiting but that is the only one that has us close

That doesn't negate the fact that they're ranked in the top 25 by a reputable site. Just because you don't like them doesn't make our ranking any less true, sorry.
