So 68% chance we are 5-7 or worse

What is the accuracy of their simulations, do you know?

Dunno. It's offseason so i posted it for Vols fans reading. Assuming we're all football hungry and very little new stuff is on the Volnation table right now. Pass the salt, please.

Tennessee and Ohio St are the only 2 teams that have never lost 8 games in a season and were not starting now........ Always want to win them all but I'm guessing 7 wins, maybe 8.......... :hi:

We should pay attention to this, I mean look at how accurate computer models have been for global warming the last 20 years.......oh wait.

Hoping that we're better record-wise than the simulation suggests doesn't mean we will be. I'm optimistic for 6-7 wins but wouldn't be shocked if we come up short. I'm looking for progress on the field throughout the year.

Such a flat earther. :)

If memory serves, weren't we destined for an ice age back in the 1970's. Just goes to show what folks with agendas and 'scientists' needing grant money are willing to profligate.

In regards to the simulation...if we go 6-6, I'll be fine. May even attend the bowl game.

So I believe Missouri is going to struggle to find an identity on both sides of the ball. Which would bring us to a 6-6 season. With a possible upset against Florida it would bring us to 7-5. 6-6 at the worst 7-5 at the best.

I'm going 7-8 wins. sounds right. Butch always pulls a surprise win. I think we give bam a the usual scare, but this time it doesn't fall apart in the second half.

Football and global warming are entirely two different things. That is a debate for the off topic forum, that is if one is interested in agendas.

In the real world there is always data that gets shared that is skewed or have mistakes.. However as a leader u have to see that n continue to look at ALL the data which usually doesn't have an agenda n the answer is there.

But people have agendas n beliefs instead of open minds.

Don't know about the 'puters' accuracy but global warming is happening. You can't lie to NASA, European, and Russian satellite data. Not to mention what's happening to islands, the ice caps, and even the jungles now. We ain't seen nothing yet and that includes the naysayers. Global warming isn't a joke.

Now, regarding UT's 2014 projections, well, there's lies, damn lies and then there's statistics.

Both of these global warming "sources" and "Climate Change Heroes" were outed as being utterly fraudulent and were busted for doing just what you said.... pushing an agenda. Do your homework chief.

BS Woods. You're spitting out the disgraced and debunked global warming cliches. The global warming alarmists, who are nothing more than political activists trying to keep an issue alive, have been spewing their "end of the world" crap since back in the 80s. Fortunately for the us, the propaganda hasn't worked and nobody, politically speaking, gives 2 Shiites about a nonexistent problem that has now been exposed as a hoax, no matter what msnbc says.

Now, like you said, back to the football predictions.

I suspect that either USCe or Ole Miss will not be as good as expected right now.

USCe has won 11 games 3 years in a row. I'd put my money on Ole Miss being the overrated team, but anything could happen especially with the loss of Shaw.

I am barely old enough to remember the '70s when the "experts" were warning that human activity threatened to block so much of the suns warmth that it would trigger an ice age.

The fact is the climate changes. It cycles and that natural process that seeks equilibrium has WAY more than enough power to account for ALL human activity and then some. It already is. The world climate has cycled like this for ALL of history... it didn't just start with modern civilization. The FACT is that human activity is negligible compared to natural causes but that doesn't get grant money, sell books, or elect political alarmists.

The Ozone hole problem has fallen off the radar when only a few years ago it was supposedly threatening our existence on the planet. Science was sort of allowed to work on that one... and it now seems likely that it is a largely natural phenomenon. The "Climate Change" movement is NOTHING more than politics masquerading as science.

In short- You nailed it.
