Never sleep on the Vols.. You guys are a hated rival and your stadium is the loudest I have ever been in! I just think the Vols are still 2 seasons out before they are good. I like Butch Davis and I think he will turn the Vols around.

Oh ye of underhanded insults. I can't tell if you're half-heartedly trying to troll or simply don't care to go full force d*****bag. Regardless, if you're being sincere, you do make a decent point, but I think next year will be more of a breakout year if recruiting continues this way, which it looks like it will.

Both of these global warming "sources" and "Climate Change Heroes" were outed as being utterly fraudulent and were busted for doing just what you said.... pushing an agenda. Do your homework chief.

Yeah even the most liberal, university of Texas just proved that melting ice caps in antartic where due to underground volcanos. Even with vocanos, the antartic ice levels are still above normal.

global warming, err climate change has two goals: 1) al gore machine to bilk billions with his climate credit exchange scheme. 2) A way for sucky tenured professors to get grant money to sustain their jobs.

Don't buy any of the union of biased scientist BS!

Rising waters any one?

Massive 'ocean' discovered towards Earth's core - environment - 12 June 2014 - New Scientist

A reservoir of water three times the volume of all the oceans has been discovered deep beneath the Earth's surface. The finding could help explain where Earth's seas came from.

The water is hidden inside a blue rock called ringwoodite that lies 700 kilometres underground in the mantle, the layer of hot rock between Earth's surface and its core.

The huge size of the reservoir throws new light on the origin of Earth's water. Some geologists think water arrived in comets as they struck the planet, but the new discovery supports an alternative idea that the oceans gradually oozed out of the interior of the early Earth.

"It's good evidence the Earth's water came from within," says Steven Jacobsen of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. The hidden water could also act as a buffer for the oceans on the surface, explaining why they have stayed the same size for millions of years.

Any simulation that has higher chance of us winning 4 games then winning 6 six games has to be mathematically wrong.
Utah, Arkansas State, Chattanooga, Kentucky, Vanderbilt : almost sure wins
Oklahoma, Alabama : Almost sure losses.
Florida, South Carolina: Probable Wins
Georgia, Ole Miss Missouri: Hard to Win.

My simulation shows based on simple formula shows highest probability at 7 games. There is 20% chance we end up with 8 Games and 4% chance with 9.
0.00287% we win it all (wo hoooo)

Love what you're saying. But whether experts or Vols fan-sperts, it's all speculation and nothing much else. We haven't see either team in action and know nothing of the intangibles that could make 2014 a dream season or a disaster season. All the same VOLS FOREVER!!!!!

I have about the same except I have South Carolina and Missouri opposite for 7-5. I wouldn't be surprised to see us win 1 of the South Carolina, Ole Miss or Georgia game.

I'm thinking that it will be a 5-7 season at best and Preston Williams will flip to the dawgs if things don't get turned around.

It's not that their formula is "mathematically wrong", it's that it doesn't make the assumptions that you are making.

We should pay attention to this, I mean look at how accurate computer models have been for global warming the last 20 years.......oh wait.

There will be global warming in college football starting this year and lasting for years to come. Tennessee is getting warmer by the minute and soon the Vols will be burning every team they play! Its gonna get hot in Knoxville baby!"

Here is a similar calculation showing both the probability that we win exactly X number of games and the probability that we win -at least- X number of games. See attached pdf.

In the real world there is always data that gets shared that is skewed or have mistakes.. However as a leader u have to see that n continue to look at ALL the data which usually doesn't have an agenda n the answer is there.

But people have agendas n beliefs instead of open minds.

I believe in determination, hard work and persistence. I know that the data and statistics are the safe bet but they have never been 100 % . Statistically there has always been those who defy the odds. Some who fall down Some who rise up. GO VOLS ,RISE TO THE TOP !

Use your ignore button if you don't like my comment or opinion.

I don't mind opposing fans coming here at all, in fact I would personally encourage it as it generates meaningful discussion and outside opinions sometimes. But you just seem to want to blatantly and come on here and write discouraging, negative things based solely on your own opinion. In regards to PW, he's already stated Tennessee is his family and home, yet you think a bad season playing tons of freshmen and recruits will bail. If that's your opinion so be it, I respect that, but comments that basically run the line of "you guys are gonna suck it up and lose the recruits you desperately need to the team I like" aren't exactly great conversation generators, now are they?
