Vols are Cursed.

Peyton and Decker were not on the same page. Decker started to go downfield and peyton threw short. It never should have gone to overtime in the first place. There is no curse:zeitung_lesen:

Peyton did plenty to win that one. The broncos secondary just fell apart.

Peyton has been to the Super Bowl twice; won one. Has a career win % of about 75%. Been to the playoffs about ten times. Three time MVP. Pro bowl a dozen times.

I think ole peytie pie is doing ok for himself...

Nowhere near the QB Brady is.

I could have sworn Derek Dooley took over the head coaching position at Denver during the 4th quarter and overtime.

The coaching in the 4th was some of the worst I have ever seen. I am surprised Manning didn't dispute that garbage.
One lousy first down wins the game.

John Fox = DD.

Are you trying to say it wasn't Peyton's fault? He played poorly yesterday, turned the ball over three times...but it's not his fault...never is...

The Broncos has a lead with 38 seconds left in the game and gave the ball back to the Ravens only for the secondary to completely collapse.

Manning did not have the best day but this one is solely on the defense secondary that got burned 3 times and one of those in a prevent D.

But it is Mannings fault, it always is.

I am about to throw some stats out just from memory. This is dangerous so please forgive me if I am off a little on the numbers.

While at UT, a RANKED team lead by Manning NEVER beat a higher ranked team. In fact, Manning's teams lost to several lower ranked teams including Memphis and Florida. Lets us not forget the embarrassments against higher ranked Florida and Nebraska.

So many fans bash other UT quarterbacks for not "getting it done" but many of those guys had the same sort of stats: they just didn't beat better teams.

As much as I like Manning for his class, longevity, sportsmanship, accolades, love for UT et al, I have never thought he was the game changing legend that others believe him to be.

I am very proud of him, to be sure, but find him to be simply mortal. Is that really so bad?

We were ranked higher than those teams because of Manning just like Denver was a favorite because of Manning. Look at how many fourth quarter and come from behind wins he has in his career.

No curse, just bad decisions. Hiring Lane Kiffin - bad decision. Hiring Derek Dooley - bad decision. Hiring Sal Sunseri to run a 4-3 defense when we didn't have the personnel - bad decision. Another bungled coaching search - many bad decisions. Peyton throwing an ill-advised pass at the worst possible time - bad decision.

Peyton isn't likely to make that mistake again. UTAD, notsomuch.

I love Peyton and think he is the greatest of all time and have always defended him against those naysayers that say he cant win the big one and always chokes. It would drive me crazy. But it is getting harder and harder to defend it and he has just added more fuel to the fire. Another loss to a team he was favored against and his last throw being an interception. These next few days will be brutal listening to the media.

I can't defend all of his games but this is not on him. He scored 35 & his defense let that crazy play happen at end of the game
