This is not a league where your offensive and defensive lines can be suspect and you still be successful. You’re not in the BIG12 anymore.
Does Bill Bedenbaugh’s offensive line have enough to get the job done in the SEC?

OU went 10-3 in the Big 12 with a heisman candidate at qb. Is OU expecting to be better than last year? I can’t imagine so after all the losses they had at various positions.
I see 5 expected wins in temple, Houston, tulane, South Carolina, and Maine (and OU would be wise not to underestimate Tulane or a desperate South Carolina). The rest could easily be losses. I don’t see this schedule without at least 3 losses from Texas, Bama, lsu, ole miss, Tennessee, and mizzou. Going .500 there should be considered a successful first season in the SEC. So yes, I could easily see OU at 9-3 with an 5-0 start and just as easily see 5-7 losing all SEC games other than South Carolina. Games against Tennessee at home and at Auburn will be good barometers for setting the rest of the seasons expectations going into the bye week.
