TF.com is a very active board that you should check out. But don't come talking "hard" smack.....a little is good and normal, but its mainly good football conversation that seperates it from the rest.

Man I don't think you know how serious I am right now. It makes me so mad when people don't understand the full concept of things. Talking about trailer trash and stuff like that. There are some people that can do no better than that. And Just for his info, He must not have been near Tennessee lately cause they have some Really nice places up there. I have lived in 7 diffrent states and that is the 2nd cleanest state I have ever been to. he needs to take a trip to his state before he rips tennessee again.

Unfortunately, unless our fearless leader changed his mind, the LSU game IS one that Hamilton isn't sending the band to! Stellar plan Mr. AD...Death Valley and The Swamp at night will be cake walks. We should definitely save the band budget to help us through the slobberknocker in Lexington! :boxing:

Someone please tell me he's change his mind - I haven't seen anything on it since they announced that?? :disappointed:

NO changes in the bands travel. Hamilton says they can't afford to send the entire marching band...just a pep band. Having one less home football game has reduced the athletic budget by 3.2 million dollars so the bands travel budget has been slashed.

The FULL marching band will NOT be at the Florida or LSU game. It's my understanding that Hamilton told the band the full band could go to Florida if they would ride home all night after the game. After sweating in those uniforms for hours what a smell that would be. Maybe the band should take him up on it and make him ride the bus home with them!

It is important to realize that Glen Guilbeau is a sportswriter that likes to be controversial. He's pulling your chain.

He's done the same kind of cynical reporting about LSU and annnoyed many LSU fans. In fact he lost his job at the big Baton Rouge newspaper over excessive negativity and is now writing for three small Louisiana papers.

From what I've seen on TV we are finding out what type of people live in LSU country. Shooting at rescue helpers, raping children in the Superdome. Stealing guns and who know's what else. In Big Orange Country we try to help people in need, however comments from LSU fans taken aim at Tennessee are uncall for. Remember we can stop the flow of money and help. Those who have the GOLD MAKE THE RULE!

Its pretty funny to me that all the LSU fans thinks it will make a difference that we will play the game at night... maybe they think a night game will help their DBs after getting torched by ASU. Perhaps they will realize TN is no ASU and their crappy coach will disappoint all the LSU fans (since no TN fans can find a place to stay) for their home opener.

But the pics are pretty funny

All of this whinning and moaning about a stupid article. People have been taking jabs at UT fans being redneck hicks for years. The writer of that article is just trying to sell newspapers. Just because K-town sportwriters such as they are dont usually poke fun at other programs doesn't mean other writers should not. Although, I disagree with the article there was some humor to it considering the State of Louisiana is full of french rednecks aka cajuns. This thread should be discussing the UT Florida game not UT LSU.
