He’s not as bad some of our fans make him out to be

Just watched an abbreviated replay and it was for sure just an exhibition, but if Uros and Key and even Aidoo play on both ends like last night to go with the guys we were all counting on, it could be a really fun year on the hardwoods. More impressed with Uros's defensive footwork than anything else he did, even his shot selection that allowed his 6-6 night. Got there slower than expected, but guess this is what the staff saw in his future. Continuity for a first game was impressive. Slow start and fast finish for our newest 5 star. Add JJJ back in with ZZZ, Santi, and the rest of the bench and it should be a good year. Lots of pieces to matchup with most teams. Hope this performance is validated in some real games real soon.

If Plavsic can get 6-8 rebounds per game and block a couple of shots per game, that will be a whole lot more valuable to this team than any points that he gives Tennessee offensively.
Important, yes. But his value as a legitimate inside threat opens the door for others in a big time way. This is potentially a breakthrough for this team offensively.

It wasn’t low scoring according to Rob Lewis. UT scored in the 80’s

Really? I hadn’t heard that from Rob. I know it was 51-49 with 11 minutes left to go. Must have been a flurry of points in the last 10 minutes.

I was impressed after watching entire video, especially with Uros. I highly suggest everyone pay attention to about the 12:50 mark of the video, or 3:50 mark in first quarter. Uros sets a screen about mid court and absolutely causes dudes knees to buckle instantly.

Basically said that it was not treated like a scrimmage and they played 8 guys. Then played an additional 10 mins which involved certain situations within a game.

I just finished the watching the game and all I can say is that I would normally discount an exhibition game but this game had a tourney game feel to it with both teams playing hard. For those that have not watched it, our frontcourt showed out against the Zags big men which impressed me and Awaka played some meaningful minutes and surprised me with how well he played.

AND Josiah spent the whole night cheerleading from the bench. Resting his knee.
We beat Gonzaga at their own up tempo game.
This is the most offensive firepower we have had in a long time .... and Santi was just ordinary.
Bradshaw pointed out we were playing 4 on 3 on offense because Few geared their game plan to stop Santi. BWAAAAAHHHHHAAAAHAAAA.

Aidoo is going to be a really good player, you could see glimpses at the end of last year, this game he was dunking on guys and shooting the 3 with confidence. Excited to see him develop.
