Vols Fall Practice #10

I wonder what all the Gaston Moore pumpers will think about this one. I’m ready to hear coping from all the guys ready to crown him starter yesterday after one bad practice from Nico.
OK, here's what I say. There are good practice days, and bad practice days, even luke warm practice days. Every player has them., none of them are prophetic of what will happen during the course of the season. Same thing with speculations. So opinions folks have remain what they are, opinions, and the beauty of that is, they're neither illegal nor hurts anyone. So it is said, so it is.

I think it’s more likely that Jake M. would get the start if Nico got hurt, imo. Not sure why everyone is so ready to label Gaston as this seasoned veteran when he’s attempted half as many passes as Nico has and has played 3 more seasons.
Then you haven't been reading the posts, as some state exactly why Gas man would be the best option to take over if Nicky was out.
Could be you don't really want to know.

Y is the slot WR. H is TE...as in H-Back.
Y is a TE. That's why in Y Corner the TE is running a corner. That's why in Y Cross the TE is running a crossing route. Also why on H Shallow the Slot is running a Shallow cross.

However, it is possible Heupel has switched the letters to his own liking. I'm gonna say it's just journalists not knowing football though.

They've been calling the slot WR the Y since Heupel arrived and the TE the H.

That link obviously shows that you're not wrong, generally speaking. Just telling you what they are in this particular offense.

but acting like they are somehow owed is always a stretch. they react like we won't even see a game on TV because their access to practice was restricted by 5 minutes.

hopefully they spend the extra time using spell check.
looking for those clicks, too busy to spell check or use one.

we are all spoiled by all the coverage we get now. back in the day most got practice updates from the Knox New Sentinel or at least I did, for me the KNS came in the mail a couple of days after the practice. The Tennessean/Banner had some detail but not much and they did spell check back then.

If our DL is as good as everyone says they are, we will be in every game we play and have a chance to win every game if they all stay healthy. I think many people are underestimating the havoc they can cause on the opponents offense. They are very deep and will be hard for coordinators to game plan for us. I see a special season in store for our Vols. Hopefully Nico is ready for the bright lights and big stage, and if he is we will be a playoff team.
