Will be a huge disappointment if we can't beat Oregon State. Oklahoma State the probable next opponent is certainly a team we'll have to play very well to beat. Our bracket is one we could win think it gives us the best shot of all four brackets to go all the way to the final four.

As the saying goes....on any given day. Problem is that it's a two way street. Been around too many years to be anything but hopeful but cupped up at all times when it comes to UT.

Love the matchup against Oregon St but the last team I wanted us matched up against in the 2nd round was Ok St. I wanted to stay clear of Cunningham. He can go off and take over any game so I’m not feeling too hot about that one. If we do make it past Ok St then I like our chances against Illinois. The Big 10 was overhyped this year.

I think they should have enough talent to get past Oregon state, they wasn’t even supposed to make it . I think Cade Cunningham will be a tough matchup, but they should throw Pons, Keon, and Jaden at him at different times . I think pons could slow him down a bit .

If we don't have Fulkerson then we don't survive the weekend. Him being out Saturday against Alabama was the difference in that game. Florida is the bad gift that just keeps on giving. 😡🤬

I think we got lucky with Oregon State. We could have drawn a potentially better Winthrop or UCSB. I say this because no one really knows how good they are. Winthrop especially, because they haven’t played ANYONE even somewhat good. They only have one loss, and that was a very close upset. Villanova might have to play hard to get past them.

I have to say this is the exact opposite of 2018. No one is picking this team so the pressure is officially off. Go out there, play hard, and let’s surprise some folks. We have the talent. Can we finally put our pieces together? I sure hope so.

I tend to agree. And I don’t think you put Pons on him. Yves is so good coming from off the ball for additional support around the rim. I think Keon and Springer guard him most of the game, and that’s fine with me. Draft stock battles.

Yeah, slowing Cade down is a waste of resources. He’s going to get 20+. The game plan I’m sure will be to make sure he has zero help from the rest of the team. Shut them down and we can win.

How was the schedule decided? Is it entirely TV driven? Wish the committee had considered the unfair position were in w Fulkerson being assaulted and given him a couple more days to recover.

Why are we in a different arena than OK State for the first round? And we play earlier so have a couple hour rest advantage and give our coaches some extra scouting opportunity

I watched one late season Winthrop game and I've seen a few Beav games. You'd rather play Winthrop than the Beavs. I've got you guys beating the Beavs and I think I'm taking you over Okie st as well

Oklahoma St plays a lot of small ball.

I’m not particularly worried about our post play in that game.

However, Johnson & Springer will have to keep Cunningham contained.

I definitely think Ok State drew the toughest 13 seed. I'm not confident enough to pick Liberty, but it wouldn't surprise me. For our sake, I hope it happens! Let's get nuts. Need some crazy upsets in our bracket.

OSU may be able to squeak by on talent but liberty’s scheme could present a problem for them. They play pack line defense like Virginia which is tough for a team like OSU that doesn’t take or make a lot of threes.

I'm still not over that game. That team had the talent and the draw to win it all, and I can't say that about any other UT squad in my lifetime (I'm not quite old enough to remember the Bernie and Ernie years.)
