It’s a tough draw. PAC-12 is a bad conference, but any time you have to play a P5 conference champion in the first round is tough.

I don’t see any way we beat Oklahoma State. We don’t have anyone that can handle the #1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. And then outside of Gonzaga you have the 2nd best team in the country in Illinois. It’s just about as brutal of a stretch as you can imagine.

The GOOD news (yes there is some good news) is that the bottom half of the bracket is weaaaaaaak. If you can somehow make it to the Elite 8, we have a very good chance to make our first Final 4.

We have a talent and experience edge on Ok State. Probably equal in size if not also an advantage there. Cunningham doesn't have a ton of support, and hopefully we can take away what support he does. Probably not going to stop him but we can stop the rest of the guys.

I don’t wish injury on players but if something happened to Cunningham, then I’d feel much better about that match up.

However, you’re not going to stop him from scoring.

Yeah, and I watched Oklahoma State get blown out by Kansas. There is no reason for Tennessee to be afraid of them... but to read some of these posts gushing over Cunningham. It is nauseating.

I know it's cool to be a pessimist on here... but I like our draw. Sweet 16 at least.... and I'm thinking Final Four.

I think beating OSU and OSU to make the S16 would be quite an accomplishment knowing what we know, now about this team (not what we thought we knew 5 months ago). This team has flaws that we just can't overlook. We don't have to like it, but unfortunately, it is what it is. F4 is a extremely optimistic. Not impossible, but not realistic.

I’m not afraid of Oregon State, the rest of our side of the bracket is tough though. Oklahoma State will be difficult and if we do get past them I don’t think we have any chance against Illinois

Oregon State beat Colorado to win the tourney. Beat Stanford and UCLA when the Bruins were playing well. This could be a sticky matchup.
