*****Vols get #5 seed in NCAAT; play Oregon State

They are very physical and one player they have that everyone seems to not know about is Avery Anderson a scoring machine. Our 'D' will have to be very effective and the offense better not get into scoring lulls against this team. All of this contingent on us beating Oregon St.

In the last few weeks, Oklahoma State has played Oklahoma twice, Baylor twice, West Virginia twice and a Big 12 tourney matchup with Texas. They went 5-2 in those games to finish off their season.

Anyone thinking they are going to be anything but a very difficult team to beat is absolutely kidding themselves. We got a super hard draw.

Reese Davis picking Oregon State. Says we’re too erratic on offense to win. Can’t say I disagree with the erratic comment, but regardless this is a tough draw. Gotta be 100% locked in from the tip all tournament long.

Lol, Reece is a joke. He’s a Bama alumni and hates TN

That makes me feel better. He's the guy who said we would get beat by San Diego State in the first round of the 2010 tournament. That ended in us going on an Elite Eight run

Sounds impressive on paper, but I personally think the BIG 12 is overrated. Texas Tech and West Virginia don't impress me much. Baylor is good, but I don't think they are as good as there record indicates. Oklahoma has really hot streams and really cold streaks. Not consistent enough.

As for Oklahoma state. I dont get why they are so good either. I dont buy into the Cade Cunningham hype. Good shooter, can create a bit, but looks slow and can be a liability on defense at times. I guess the NBA likes him because he can shoot the 3. Otherwise not very impressive to me. I think our athleticism and length will bother him.

They are quick but not as physical...A lot of zone. It's a different style of play. A lot of interior passing....Defensively out of position it will be a great game when and if we get to that point...
I like our draw no time to nap and a good grind...

Guard the 3 pt line and we can get out of the first round. Given we disappear offensively at times, OSU isn’t an ideal matchup but Jaden and Keon would be highly motivated to play against Cade. Would be a fun game to watch.

There are no easy draws, Okie State could have peaked to early and 7 tough games w/ 2 losses = legs gone, I choose to look at it that way..

Oklahoma State beat Arkansas and Oklahoma beat Alabama in the Big 12/SEC Challenge a couple of months ago. They are a tough, tough team to have in the 2nd round and I'm not high on our chances. Cunningham is the prototypical type of player who goes off against us, too. We'll see, though.
