I did, but let’s be honest here. Jeremy Pruitt is a different animal than Kirby Smart. Pruitt’s defense is going to be more elite than Georgia’s defense in a matter of time. Pruitt leaving Bama has put Bama’s defense in a hole. Our defense in time will counter our offense. It is coming, and no one can’t stop it. Georgia and Florida is fixing to get smacked before long. We’ll worry about Bama later. It is the first steps of the SEC east first.

Kirby Smart is a more likable person on the surface than Jeremy Pruitt based solely on what we get from TV exposure and media interaction. I bet Jeremy Pruitt can be a real horse’s a$$ behind closed doors. He definitely isn’t the friendliest coach during press interviews.

I am not sure how it translates to working for him though.

Pittman's o-line his first season at UGA was not good. They made a huge leap in year 2...and looked much different physically after another offseason with a real strength coach. Hard to judge Friend from last season. 2019 will tell the story.

It's why Kirby and crew were not interested in extending their time with Cheney. They are at least smart enough to realize that Cheney hit his ceiling and had nowhere to go but down.

Considering the improvement we saw with Crompton under Chaney and the fact that he turned Petwrman into a NFL draft pick at Pitt, I guess you're dislike of JG has more to do with how he plays on the field.

A UGA fan and friend of man said he didn't think UGA tried to keep Chaney. That may be true with Chaney being told to coach TEs instead of QBs and also shared OC title. He also says Kirby will try hard to keep Pittman with him being a great OL coach and stud recruiter. He doesn't see Pittman leaving. I hope he is wrong! =)

UGA friend needs to ask Georgia why they offered Chaney more money if they didn't want to keep him. Friend has brought in a pretty good Oline class this year. I do think Pittman is probably the better coach though. I'd love to add Pittman but i doubt that happens

This is ridiculous. Chaney called a very good game vs Bama in the SEC championship. That fake punt wasn't his. As for the LSU game? Georgia was whipped at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Their D was gassed because they couldn't stop the run. That's not on the OC. You seem like you just want to pi$$ on the optimism of others on here who like the hire... The legion of the miserable is still in full force.
