The young pitching in the SEC and other major colleges is extremely good with many having potential to exceed current major league talent. Colleges had more pitchers throwing the ball over 100 mph than the Majors. However, they need additional coaching and experience to be able to get major league hitters out. There are so many Major League teams that there is not enough pitchers for all of them to have all star pitching. I will say that the Major League has more really good pitchers than hitters. The Braves, this year, had one of the top ERA rating in the Majors, yet they often had trouble scoring enough runs to advance in the post season.College pitching definitely isn’t better…
