I don't want to even think about it haha...

It'll be limited though to 9 man at most...

Golden/Landry
McRae/hubbs
King/hubbs
Jw3/Nichols
Stokes/Nichols

NASTY!!!!
That's not 9 people.

How can you go from being so high on Edwards now to him not even making a 9 man rotation?

Yemi or Edwards would be the 9th.

You're misinterpreting what I'm saying, I'll repeat. I don't think Edwards will be all sec, I'm expecting a solid player from him this year because hell get the minutes.

Bring in a guy like nick king, and sorry but he's playing over Edwards, because HE IS an all sec type of player.

I didn't misinterpret anything. If Edwards comes in and gets 25 minutes a game and goes for 9/6 this year, King may take his starting spot but he cannot play the whole 40 minutes. Edwards would see the floor somewhere. Even if only 10-15 a night.

You guys are leaving richardson out. Coach Martin loves the way he's so scrappy defensively. He's our best on ball defender. He's a pest. Hard to keep him on the bench IMO.

Which is what I basically just said, king will start and Edwards will get the backup minutes, probably around 10 a night. A chance hubb may see minutes at the 3 also though limiting Edwards minutes even more.

I'm not leaving him out, I like him, but if you bring in guys like hubbs and king Richardson will have trouble seeing the floor.

You didn't have Edwards on your example rotation.

People are going to be watching CCM's ability to coach this year. If he can continue to show that he is a great coach who just needs the players to become an elite team, then we are going to see a huge uptick in recruiting. None of this happens if Stokes doesn't come last year and make Martin look really good. Stokes doesn't come if we don't have a midseason scholly available. It's good to see some luck on our side for once.

Not everyone in Memphis is sold on Pastner either. He's a helluva recruiter, but questionable X&O guy. If CCM's coaching staff makes head way with the Memphis H.S. Coaches then the recruits will look towards UT more. Nick King would be a valuable addition to the Vols. Great character kid that really meets the profile of what CCM wants. Could we be looking at a trifecta?

And in the very next post I included him, I had sent it to quick and had forgotten him.

He'd get minutes I think, but not many if those guys are all on the roster.

Maybe even a quadruple??? Is that what a 4 is? Lol

JWIII, according to that Memphis dude TIFWIW

Yup. Guess that's where I heard it from. I remember hearing about a Memphis kid we were in on that was pretty much a Georgetown lock.

Getting King is the one player I always wanted. If this happens then wow. Not seeing it though.

I think if he were to sign today, it would be for Memphis

If we landed that class, I think Josh would definitely be pushed to play point. I'd think he could beat out Landry or Moore for that spot anyway.

Amen. Agree 100%. Someone's getting shown the door if this class even comes remotely close to what we are hoping for.

I can't wait to see more of Landry. I'm not to high on him but i'm guessing that's because theres so many red flags that keep popping up about him and I haven't seen much film of him yet. He doesn't strike me as a diamond in the rough type of kid and backup / mop up minutes. Hopefully I'm wrong.

that's why this season is important. If we really shine this year, King is probably a player we could steal - especially if Pastner stays to his milquetoast ways

The great thing about being in on all these Memphis kids is CJP can't sign them all. Landing Stokes last season and even if we can grab one of these highly ranked recruits, I think that pretty much makes Martin a force to deal with in that area instead of the laughing joke we've been for so many years.

I expect Armani to be better suited for the backup PG this year than josh, jmo.

I hope so. I think in 2 years time, Josh might be the kind of player you find a spot for - and even though he's not a natural point guard, he might be a better option.

Oh. Landing Stokes got our foot in the door a little bit, but that is HUGE. I think CCM has a tremendous opportunity to start making real inroads there. What that would mean to our program would be invaluable.

Will be interesting to watch those 2. I'm ready for Italy to see how these newcomers are and how josh and Q have progressed.
