I'm in total wait and see mode on this staff.

Dooley was clearly a loser. This staff is clearly of unknown potential.

I don't know who was against a Gruden hire, but everyone who stood against that investment needs a one way ticket out of Knoxville and a restraining order to ensure they never return. He would have won and would have created excited.

These guys.... totally... must show us what they can do. We can't really know they'll lose, as we did with Dooley. But, we can't know they'll win either, as we would with Gruden.

after listening to the revolving door of coaches we have had the last 6 years I don't give a crap what any of these guys SAY....I'm done being impressed with words and "passion"...I just want to see us win...until then videos like this are nothing more than boring rhetoric and a waste of time.

I can't believe people still believe Gruden rumors

is it just me or did it sound like he was "kinda" taking a shot at sal when he said "i'm not gonna confuse them with schemes"? I think he was. And I for one, applaud him for that jesture!:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::::clapping::clapping:

Nothing wrong with being cautiously optimistic, Jancek seems like a guy who gets it, and I like his "vibe", but we will know more about him once the games start.

And regarding his time at Georgia, we could see it as a learning time, when he struggled to get things going. Now he could be more mature, and his time at Cincinnati points to that.

(blah blah blah yada blah)

But, we can't know they'll win either, as we would with Gruden.

I was FIRMLY and vehemently against a Jon Gruden hire, and I'm still singing the Hallelujah chorus because that colossal sack of fail's not the coach here. It is my firm belief that all "Grudenites" are water heads that are too blinded by a Super Bowl ring to see that Monte Kiffin bailed Gruden out on a weekly basis, and if not for Monte's defense, we wouldn't be having this argument.

If he wants to come out this fall and be more successful, he needs to go find some FAST DBs right now, otherwise he will have that same shocked look on his face too.
4.55 and 4.6 in this league will not cut it, and right now that would be his faster guys.. He Needs SPEED! Go Recruit like your job depends on it, because it does. He also needs 3 or 4 D lineman added and get the ones there now to get themselves MUCH MUCH stronger and quicker. A good dose of mean and nasty would help too. GBO!

I am surprised to say that I actually like this guy the most out of our new staff. You can tell he is not a "coach speak" guy and just tells it like it is. He has a tremendous challenge ahead squaring up this D, but he has been in the SEC before and knows what a special unique conference this is and what it will take-- now can he make it happen? IDK, but much like CBJ, this staff WANTS to be here and knows this is a step up and they actually seem hungry to be successful.
