EB was the best Defensive player I've ever seen play with my own two eyes.

That said, he didn't do more than Atkins, Majors, or Manning.

Neyland is non-negotiable...and sorry, but Atkins would beat out White 95% of the time......with a 12 pack in his hand.

It should be for Coaches only. Mt. Rushmore is presidents after all. Manning can earn his way on there still. All he need do is be one of our coaches. :)

Ward... well he needs his own Special Statue.
I see a huge statue of him holding a large Megaphone that is a huge loud speaker. That would also be used for Air Raid, and part of the PA system

Eric Berry should not be in this discussion. Great player but its about the whole picture and what the team did while they were here.

Secondly EB only played three years. Manning chose to stay for all four. That means everything. Not saying i blame him but that keeps him out of Manning,Wilson,White level talk.

Neyland,Manning,Wilson,Atkins,White and Fulmer if there could be 6th.

Sorry my Rushmore is gonna be bigger

No defensive lineman in the history of football was as good as Reggie, including Atkins.

Hickman, Atkins, Neyland, Manning. Manning over Majors but I could be convinced otherwise. Manning is to UT what Majors was when Johnny came marching home to coach 'em up. Both have/had more enduring legacies than Fulmer.

could not agree more that EB is not in this discussion - great players/coaches lead teams to victories and inspire the best in others that causes teams to achieve at high levels - especially when you are talking about all-time greats they have to have won and won at a very high level

when you look at Neyland, Atkins, Manning, AWilson, Majors, and others they just won at a completely different level than EB did

and if EB is the best defensive player you have ever seen in Orange you haven't been watching Vols football very long - AWilson, LLittle, Henderson, etc would all give him a run for his money

Not true. Fulmer was a good player. He was also a great coach. Majors did not have near as many wins a Fulmer, but was a much better player. Since Mannings wins are also Fulmers wins. Your point is lost.

I am not a Fulmerite, but repect has been erned. That respect cannot be undone by an unfortunate Haslam/Hamilton situation. If some of you fans knew the real story there you would chill with the Fulmer crap.

Didn't bash Fulmer. I think he was highly successful and was a solid lineman in his day. Just not on my version of Mt. Rushmore

Guess I don't see a lot of support for Don DeVoe (just kiddin').

I agree that Reggie was great but Adkins was The Man in college and for a UT Mt Rushless; Adkins over White. Reggie was more of a force in the NFL after UT days.

Benard King...Berry only here for 3 years is the reason for elimination.....
