Neyland, Ward, Summit, Manning. (Football, The Voice of the Vols, Basketball, and Best overall 4 yr Player)...All covered.

Benard King...

But seriously I like this one the best. 4 name that will truly NEVER be forgotten when thinking of the University of Tennessee. :good!:

Eric Berry should not be in this discussion. Great player but its about the whole picture and what the team did while they were here.

Secondly EB only played three years. Manning chose to stay for all four. That means everything. Not saying i blame him but that keeps him out of Manning,Wilson,White level talk.

Neyland,Manning,Wilson,Atkins,White and Fulmer if there could be 6th.

Sorry my Rushmore is gonna be bigger
No it is about individuals, not what the team did

Neyland, Majors, Peyton, and Reggie...with Al, Ward and Atkins on Level 2, but please don't tell Al I said so. GO VOLS, any of them that wore the Orange are up on that mountain ... Rocky Top of course...somewhere. GO VOLS!

Doesn't Reggie still hold all of our Sack records? If you factor the NFL its obviously Reggie.

Sack records were not kept until the early 80's. Before that they were mere tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Wouldn't expect someone from the 60's to lead in that stat when it didn't exist then..

Benard King...Berry only here for 3 years is the reason for elimination.....

Neyland,White,Manning,Summitt

You have to have Pat Head Summit in there somewhere. She is Women's College Basketball.

Cannot ignore Summit and 8 NC winnest coach ever

Cannot ignore Neyland...Founded the program

Cannot ignore Manning...changed the NFL, 2nd in the Heisman, numerous awards.

Cannot ignore Ward...anybody that was a fan during his time as the Voice of the Vols will never ever forget statements like "give him six" or "Its football time in Tennessee."

So White holds the sack records since there are no stats on Atkins?

Didn't have time to read through the entire thread, but, seriously, Fulmer? He had a pretty good run, don't get me wrong, but the Vols won the NC in '98 with supreme talent that Fulmer recruited with the help of an all-time legend at QB. Very average in-game coach. Neyland, Manning, White, A. Wilson,.

I would give anything for that mediocrity now.
