I think the game will mirror yesterday’s game. Bama seems very similar to A&M. Strong defense, issues on the offensive line, etc.

12.5 is a LOT of points for an SEC rivalry. Vega$$ knows something and I bet revenge is a part of it.

We will have to throw for more than 100 yards if we have any chance against the tide.
Vegas knows Bama’s defense is the best one we will have seen to date and we don’t have a serious passing game. Bama will stack the box and be more than happy to try and make Joe beat them throwing.

With Milton and this group of receivers our passing game is anemic. They'll load the box and hold us to about half our normal rushing yards. I'm not sure we get more than 10-13 points. Not feeling super confident about playing at Bama.
Really? So we put up 237 on the best rush defense in the SEC and now we can't run on Bama. Got it. You should turn in your Vol card.

I feel better about this game than I have in the past. Our defense is playing well and Bama isn't doing much on offense. If we can get some deep 50 50 balls, we might be able to score just enough to pull it out.
I hope you're right. I think we have a shot for sure, but Alabama has a lot of talent and depth, and Saban getting them playing well next week would not surprise me. They've struggled this year, but I feel like I've seen the story of Alabama being considered weaker than normal and then turning it around way more often than not. They have the home advantage and probably aren't going to overlook us after last year's upset. Of course they can still have a bad day, and we could actually have a really good offensive performance for once and keep our defense and special teams playing well ourselves. If we did that, we might beat them even straight up, but right now, with what the pass game has been so far, I think we will need some breaks for sure. Right now I think we are underdogs fair and square objectively, but it's not nearly as big a leap for us to win as it has been most years since Saban took over. A challenge I hope our guys can meet, but not gonna be easy.

We need to clean up these penalties. We're going into a hostile environment. The defense needs to show up and show out. Now if we could only insert "Orange Bowl Joe" into the game, I would feel really confident about our chances.

After today I'm convinced it's gonna be 12.5 or worse. This team plays really bad on the road, and we don't have a qb or wrs. Might get ugly next week.
Misery is so much fun isn’t it. Every morning that I wake up, I go out to the nearest tree and smashed my face into it to make myself feel better after we lose a game like we did last night. We’re a bunch of losers. 1-5 really sucks.

Don't think we have a shot with our current QB unless bammer completely ***** the bed and we create turnovers with our DL. With no threat to throw the ball down the field, we are severely handicapped offensively.

Over/under on false starts?
Next week the pass interference will be called, only we’ll be the ones getting called for it.

I always try to get some idea of common opponents which is aTm. It’s not always the best way to guess but it gives some hope. Bammer won at their place 26-20. I think bammer had more TOs and penalties if I’m not mistaken. Bammer only had 20ish rushing yds adding in the sacks. But they did have success throwing with 320 yds. #3 and #17 were torching aTm secondary. Vols had opportunity to do the same but Joe was off target on the deep balls. I do expect bammer to be psyched up for this one at home but I noticed against Texas, Ole Miss, and Arky they only scored 24 pts each at home. They averaged giving up 22 pts to those three at home. TN must play better than they did at FL. All the penalties Vols had last night at home is a concern as well. Hopefully bammer struggles as well and Vols can put pressure on them.

The penalties were due to line play. Two pieces were missing. Will we face a better DL this season? Doubt it. The FL game was a combination of things, but today, we would boat race them.
