Our offensive line seems to melt down in front of loud crowds. See UGA last year and the Gators this year. The Tuscalooser natives will be loud and proud on Saturday. The only thing that gives us a shot is that The Vols excel at shutting down the run, and Bama has QB issues.

With our defense and special teams play, I believe the oddsmakers will be wrong if Milton sucks it up and plays like his preseason press clippings read.

Which will be made even harder than against Florida since Bru is out. However, we have our All-SEC center for this game but Ollie Lane still starts.

Not impressed with either team this year. Hope we win , I don’t think we have looked great in any game this year. Neither has Bama.

If TN plays like they did yesterday in the passing game while committing many penalties, then we lose by two scores and the line makes sense. OTOH, this bama squad looks to be Saban’s weakest team since he took over in Tuscaloosa. A solid team but not great . Both UT and Bama share similarities, good defense and a mediocre offensive. I don’t like where UT is right now on offense; however, IF Joe can just be decent, then we have a chance. UT is better than the Aggies & Arkansas and both of those teams were in the game late with the tide. I can guarantee everyone that bama is going to be more than pumped for this game. UT has to match their intensity while executing on the road. GBO!!!

Joe can have a good game, and we all hope he does, but his issue is not an ability to be good it is an ability to consistently be good.

The Vols are underdogs in this game, so there is no pressure on them. I'm hoping a game like this helps them get over their fears of playing on the road in a hostile environment.

At home, they know the fans have their backs and they feast off that fan energy. I wish the fanbase could be with them every step of the way during the season, but unfortunately these are the times that they have to do some soul searching and find that will to win, no mattter the surrounding cicumstanes inside themselves.


With what they are going to be up against this week, they might should watch "The Longest Yard (1974)" for inspiration.

Sure but this also aint your daddy’s or your older brother’s Bama team. We shouldn’t give them too much credit. They have glaring weaknesses everywhere

They don't seem to be as good as last year but neither are we.

They still have a roster full of 4 and 5 star players, want revenge and are at home. Will be a very tough game.
