They tend to make higher so when the people sucked in the betting it closer so that line will move. My guess is the line will move to about 6.5 by Saturday.

Correct. This is just the LV opening line to get the betting started. Everyone will be jumping on TN right now then it will drop as the week goes on to get more bets on UGA. Typical LV betting strategy. As someone said in a previous post on here, get in now as this will be the best spread for TN you will see for this game.

The opening line is just revisionist history coming into play. UGA is the defending champ and the score hasn’t been close between us for a good while. I do believe the number comes down to single digits but what do I care since I do not gamble. Just win baby!!!

I think you are looking at an old line from a while back. Circa sports has UGA -9 as it opened today.

When you look at those lines remember you can bet on games in the summer, so some of the lines are old.

I don’t think these Draft Kings and Fanduel lines are actual “opening lines”, like real Vegas lines. They seem to always come out super early and are different from the rest of the big sites.

I could be wrong but that’s what it seems like. The real lines don’t seem to come out until afternoon/evening of the Sunday before the game.
