I said I liked Maymon a lot and thought he would be a great contributor...
Hat said he was fat and lazy...
Pretty divergent opinions. He will probably pretend later that it did not happen, just like he tries to run away from the fact that he called Goins a waste of a scholarship.
His talent evaluation sucks. He is proud for calling Jurick a future bust along with every other person I know.
It's more like MHF v. Anyone who actually knows a damn thing about basketball.
It is not really planned that when I bump something idiotic said by your BB your horrific predictions show up for everyone to see again.
Stepcross, hatvol does not argue with me...hahahaha he just likes to show up in most of the threads I write talking about Depaul.
By the way, last year I was wrong about Depaul (though they lost the only NBA level talent they had to injury) and Arizona. You will see me admit when I am wrong. Not possible for all of us.

From the look of the post you quoted, someone has forgotten their assertions and predictions about Charlotte, Virginia, Florida, Miami, the relative strength of the SEC compared to the Big 10, UT's return to controlled chaos, et al. Sad to watch the effects of early onset Alzheimer's.You mean, my horrific predictions that are still right more often than yours by a longshot?
So what is the consensus on Maymon?
A good contributor or a waste of space?
This is a serious question, I don't know anything about the guy.
Wisconsin Mr. Basketball.
Was playing tons as a true freshman at Marquette.
Left there because he hated the way the coaches were using him. He does not mind being used as a 3 or a 4 but he never wanted to play the 5 and that is where they were putting him because they said they had a need there.
He has a good reputation as being willing to mix it up defensively and he is pretty strong. The things that made him able to play center in the Big East mean that he is a huge improvement as a back up 4 defensively over Pearl. Now having Fields at the 5, Maymon at the 4 and Pearl at the 3, you have an incredibly strong defensive group for backups, and out of the frontcourt, Maymon would be the guy you would look to most to score.
Only a few people on here predicted he would not contribute. One said "fat and lazy" both of which are factual assertions that are easily proven one way or the other. They were both false.
