I can't believe that Stanley was the leading scorer tonight. Sounds like he's already learning.

It would have been Stanley's career high if it counted.

The only big problem that I've seen with Stan is his ability to miss shots. He takes care of that and he's going to be good.

I definitely would not say I like it more but I am excited about Coach Pearl and getting to watch this years team. And in case you hadn't noticed, this is not quite a year to remember in football. :biggrin2:

i went to the last game, I couldnt go to tonights because I played in a high school play off game, the team while greatly improved on there hustle stats, and drastically improved on defense, this team just doesnt have enough talent to have a better than last year record. I watched them play Souther Indiana a D2 school, and we barely won that game. Our guards are very good, Lofton, and Watson are very good and so are Smith, and Bradshaw, but Wingate is a terrible rebounder, he is 6'11 and he got out rebounded by a 6'6 D2 player. I just wonder if we have enough depth to have a good year this year. A few years down the road when these good recruits show up, we may be a very good year but I wouldnt get your hopes up for this year.

I play for CAK (Christian Academy of Knoxville). We lost to Alcoa 49-14, we were in the game in the first half it was 21-14, but in the second half we did terrible we got in their redzone 5 times for 0 points, it was a really tough loss because we should have won the game. Alcoa's coach said in the paper and to us after the game that we were by far the best team they've played other than Maryville so the game wasnt as bad as the score showed. It just as easily could have been 49-42 but we got beat up and alot of our key players were missing for the 4th quarter.
