Vols vs Tigers game thread - 3:30 ET CBS

As bad as Ramar struggled on offense he was a very solid player defensively. I wish we had Maze as starter with Ramar coming off the bench.

I wish we had Ramar as a starter with Maze coming off the bench. On this team, we could use his defense out there for 25+ minutes.

Not to mention there would actually be a guard on the court who could penetrate the defense on a consistent basis.

RS had his faults, but no more than Maze. When he was on his game, he was light years better than anything we've seen from Maze yet.

he could put pressure on the Defense like Maze cannot and he could keep an offensive guy in front of him with some success.

That pretty much sums it up.

Maze is shooting 43.2% from the field this season while RS shot 43.6% and 43.7% in his two seasons. Maze does shoot better from the free throw line, but he's only getting there right at three times a game.

Everyone wants to jump on Ramar's turnovers as well, but in '07/'08 he had less than half a turnover a game than Maze has this year.
