I am aware they have talent. They are Oklahoma, thats what they do, they bring in ass loads of talent and then sometimes, you said it yourself, Stoops finds a way to have a bad game or entire season where he under achieves. I believe we have a legit shot.

You realize they are bringing back 19 starters as well as their kicker and punter, right? Including their entire front seven on defense?

And not one, but two significant threats at QB?

We had a better chance at beating Oregon this year than we will next in Norman. And by competitive, I mean we will be able to keep the game within a reasonable score despite losing.

I know but you have to remember my OP. These kids are legacies. they don't bend over anymore. they are winners.

Or any less!

I've heard once you bend over the 1st time, you'll do it again.

Just kidding. I hope you're right about this class. It certainly has all the components of a "deep-rooted" UT class with Bates, Kelly, Cramer, Wharton, Berry's, etc.

Which doesn't have the first damn thing to do with the talent gap we will still have on the field against a team like OU. Not to mention they have developed talent compared to all these freshmen who haven't played a single down at the collegiate level.

I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised BearCat.

And when did Stoops ever drop an entire season? Worst year they've had in the past decade was in 2009 when they went 8-5 and in 2005 when they finished at 8-4. Not exactly what most would consider "dropped" seasons.

You mean the Red River Rivalry that Texas leads 60-43-5? However, in the past decade has pretty much been evenly matched?

Yeah, I can see where it fits your definition of "thrashing."
