Again, (1) Should Dooley win out. He stays!!!
(2) Should Dooley lose one game, then Hart will look to replace him. If a better coach is not interested in U.T., then Dooley will stay., by default.
(3) Should Dooley lose more than one game and we don't qualify for a bowl game. then Dooley will be gone, regardless of who the new coach will be....
i will not share anything with you. i will not relate to you and you will not identify with me. i will give you no input and i will expect no feedback. this will not be a learning experience, nor will it be a growth period. there will be no sharing, no caring, no birthing, no bonding, no parenting, no nurturing. we will not establish a relationship. we will not have any meaningful dialogue and we definitely will not spend any quality time.
Hey Team,
Vols win 35-20. We beat Vandy by 7. We take UK to the woodshed and mushroom tat them in the face. And mess up Miami in the Music City Bowl.
It's going to be one of the History Channel Men Who Built Volnation stories.
As much criticism as Dooley gets for the D, look at the O. He has built a top 5 offense and a top 5 coaching staff.
But adversity has struck the team on D. No great man ever had it easy. It's in these times that Legends are born. UT seems to be a family that never gets down on themselves. A family that has the confidence and talent to put up points and make the stops on D.
Sal will go at the end of the year. But Dooley will stay. So will Bray and CP. The D will return all of it's starters (other than a criminally slow Herman Lathers). The vols will be back.
Nay sayers climb on if you want some... You got 2 days left. Then the wheels go in motion... And by January 1st you as well will be behind Dooley for 1 more year.
Hey Hey UT you look so good to me.
This "win out" argument baffles me. How can anybody reconcile 4 wins against terrible competition with the losses we've already had? These next few weeks aren't going to change how abysmal we looked against real competition
I think maybe because we played probably the toughest if not top 3 toughest schedules in the country this year. AL, FL, GA, SC all ranked within top 7 at some point this year and MSSt undefeated when we played them. We did not look abysmal against GA and SC offensively.
Which one of these given where our team is should we have won? AL=NO FL=NO SC=NO GA=NO MSSt = Probably.
You don't care what I think, yet you responded to my post. That makes perfect sense.
Sometimes when people are being idiotic, they just have to be told.
I imagine this happens to you on a daily basis.
Like in this case. I'm telling you.
That's akin to the pot calling the kettle black.
Go home.
Feel free to press that ignore button.
No one wants you here. Go back to your failed 'season'. Your big year, the one where you finally win the SEC, and contend for the national title.
Failed? We can still go to a BCS bowl and win eleven games. Certainly not all I had hoped for three weeks ago, but it can still be a good season for us.
Hopes down the drain.
lmao
You are.....USuC.
How original. Maybe you will come up with something more creative after you graduate high school and mature a bit.

Sorry recruiting is already in the crapper. Currently 10th in the SEC. Behind Vandy.

Which one of these given where our team is should we have won? AL=NO FL=NO SC=NO GA=NO MSSt = Probably. Concur if our defense was close to last years we could have won 3 of these losses. No one is doubting that. But we weren't favored in any of these games regardless.
Kind of a mix bag this year with defense flopping so much. Say what you will but we have not suffered the blowouts we did last year.
Last year we suffered blowouts of 49-7, 37-6, 38-7.
The devil you know vs the devil you don't know... The devil we know, Dooley (not calling him a devil) is responsible for the flailing defense, and is responsible for the upsurge in offense. Why not give him a chance to fix the defense next year? Anyone really think he will take no action to right the ship?
Given this scenario if Dooley announces a Big Time Defensive Coordinator hire at the end of the season, and 2 out of 3 of Bray, Hunter and Patterson announce they are staying I bet this board will light up with how we can win 10 games next year. We aren't short on skill positions on offense (although we need a big time running back). That type of hire could bring in some real D talent (which I don't think we are lacking.. what is lacking is coaching on the D Side).
This year point total through 9 games 331. Last year through 9 games 172.. 159 point difference.
Keep the O, Fix the D. 9 wins next year.
Think of it this way. Bring in a new coach and you don't know what will happen D could get better and the O could go to hell.
Devil you know vs the devil you don't.
The devil we know is like 1-5000 against ranked opponents and still hasn't won a conference game this year (It is November 9th). The devil we know has as many conference wins as our old devil that only coached here one year. The devil we know also stinks at recruiting and doesn't get along with his own coaches and players. The devil we know sucks.
