Von Pearson Injury Update

Those tweets making a laughing stock of the "student" athletic idea.

Just like audio interviews do with...I'll not name names. Pick your favorite. You've heard them. One thing I have noticed, and I DO notice, is the increasing prevalence of at least, close to standard English by more of our players. And that is a good thing.

Glad to hear it! I was really afraid he broke it. Sucks, but he will be back soon enough.

I've checked this thread four times thinking at some point we'd have definitive word on his injury--and still nothing, apparently, but idle chit-chat!

Exactly, this is why Depth is huge, and why the SEC has been so dominant. Talent and depth with talent is better than just talent. At some point (usually the 4th) it takes over.

Hope its not what I just heard. Dislocated ankle and out for season, that would suck for him. He's a playmaker.

If you have ever seen a truley dislocated ankle you would know immediately that it wasn't dislocated. It will be so visible it will turn your stomach and you sure aren't walking off on crutches. No ice would be needed as it would do no good. He also would have been carted off the field with a agonizing look on his face.

Everyone's is different. I tore mine on March 16 2012. I got up grimacing and hobbled to rec league basketball bench. Everyone including myself said the same you did. No way it's an acl or you would be down crying I was like yeah but this must be worst sprain of my life. When I called into work on Monday and told them I'd be out awhile as I climb utility poles walking with a limp would keep me from that. There policy is use insurance and get Mri. By that night they got me one and radiologist spilled beans before KOC could even get a look at my knee. I couldn't believe I could walk on it. Also remember Eric Berry hurt his knee left and came back in and that's when they knew his torn. Now granted that's rare but nothing is conclusive until doctors see mri unless it's visual damage like Paul George, Marcus Lattimore or Kevin Ware.

Had a boss who tore his playing softball and said the same thing. When it popped it hurt but after that there was little to no pain he said. He tried to keep playing but couldn't cut, could only move straight-line.
