Gator or no Gator, if you don't think Emmitt Smith was one of the greats, you're an idiot.

He was a Gator great. But that says very little. In the NFL, he's not NEARLY the first back you take speaking in historical terms. He is not even a factor when mentioning the all time greats (by position). Peyton & Reggie fit both criteria however. From there, UT has many more significant NFL players than Florida. Period.

Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith.

There's your Mount Rushmore of NFL running backs.

Not sure what you're smoking when it comes to Emmitt's place in NFL history, but pass it over here cuz clearly it's some good $h!t.

The sooner everyone agrees with Pimp the better.

Emmitt Smith was an overrated hack who broke the NFL's all-time rushing record in spite of himself.

He is not overrated. And why agree with me? Just state your case and keep it moving. We have better NFL players than Florida. Deal with it, Gator.

On the field only, I take OJ over Smith. I take Marcus Allen over Smith. I take LT over Smith. That is off the top, no research. He is not impressive physically in the least. He just got on the right team @ the right time. Nothing more.

*Gas*. It is the bomb too.

Based on the players on UF and UT's "ultimate" team, UT's defense is definitely loaded based on NFL production.

But I seem to recall just about everyone on UT's "ultimate" team being on the losing end more often than not when they played Florida.

Play the hand you're dealt I guess.

Yeah, we should just go ahead and agree to disagree.

If Adrian Peterson tears it up like he's been doing for the next 5-7 years he will probably be on that mountain as well.
