Never underestimate how valuable the lessons of not achieving your personal goals & using those experiences as motivation to enhance your game with a fresh start in a new environment where the competition is not quite as stiff . If he learned enough here he can combine that knowledge with the instruction of his new coaches at his next school & even surpass his previous goals. I hope he excels at his next stop & made enough memories as a Vol to last a lifetime His youth is far from wasted

Fair enough. Long story short, Lang, like Nichols before him, couldn’t hack it.

Satterwhite is listed as our backup currently.

It has been widely reported that Satterwhite passed him on the depth chart some time ago, so this isn’t much of a surprise. Some of y’all might want to make sure you’re informed before you start panicking.

Where was he scheduled to be a starter at?

Seems Lang was our backup center til he wasn’t. I don’t recall Satterwhite getting much PT in garbage time, so it’s all relative. Austin Nichols was penciled in the starting guard til he wasn’t. Then we got Kuric.

Either way, we don’t have any young guys getting snaps. That’s 4 years into this.

Lang has played in 5 games, Satterwhite has played in 3 games. I believe most of Lang's reps where at guard.
