If you would’ve told me one year ago that Crouch and To’oto’o would be hosting ‘20 recruits, I wouldn’t have believed you. Now we’ve upgraded our recruiting prowess with Tee and Ansley.

Anything is possible.

Absolutely. If we could take 26-27, then that list he mentioned would be a dream come true. We probably aren’t going to get Washington and Gilbert plus two QBs. But we damn sure seem to be taking a swing at it.

My view is that our staff knows we are lacking at difference makers on the DL and pass rush OLBs and they intend to load up this class. I think those are the only position groups that were big misses last class. The DL is basically one HS recruit (Simmons) and two JUCOs (Williams and Middleton), with the latter two likely good players but the staff was forced to go JUCO since we don’t have any true studs at the DL to speak of. The Justin Eboigbe and Khris Bogle (among others) were big misses for our team and, according to rumor, both guys almost came our way. I thought last class did well in the secondary, landed a likely stud at the MLB spots in Henry T. and one or two pass rushing stud la at the OLB spots in Q. Crouch and R. Harrison but didn’t have great success in the high school ranks at DL. The DB and TE, recruiting were solid and the OL recruiting superb. This class needs to load up at DL, LB, and 3-5 skill position players.

Simonton mentioned in the Chat I believe that he could possibly not make it in this weekend, but if that were the case he would be back fairly soon for a visit early this Fall.

I do not recall your objecting to the posts which lament the scepticism of many top athletes toward Tennessee --drum roll -- because we lose to MFing Vandy. (See #87 & #107) How about you flagging your ownself, or going back to sleep?

It’s not a knock on you, it’s just embarrassing to celebrate spanking vandy. It seemed irrelevant and out in left field because post 107 was two weeks ago, and even if it were two minutes ago, they just ain’t worth the conversation.
