Wacko Marjorie Green embraced by Trump, GOP leaders

I just think we can continually get better.

The only thing that can happen when federal government gets involved is what we see today. It's a mess. The federal government primary responsibilities should be the security of the nation and roads which requires tax revenue. We know they are doing a horrible job with the safety and security part. Anything else is debatable. I do think some basic minimal programs meant to be temporary do become important in society.

I've always said that the only thing worse than government is the absence of government when and where needed.

When has the absence of government ever resulted in anything nearly as bad as the worst that government produces? The instances in modern day where government is absent are few and far between. I mean, you can say the old west basically had no government and maybe there were a few too many shootouts, but I'll take that over Mao.

Me: "We don't have sufficient consumer protection and I ended up buying a lemon."

You: "This is worse than Mao!"

State governments > federal government except in national safety and security, and things related to interstate commerce.

How does something like this happen? GOP ought to be thoroughly ashamed of itself. Top to bottom. Instead she's celebrated as a "rising star?" WTF?

And the GOP wonders why it has to cheat to win these days.

LOL.. you are amazingly deluded.

She is less of a "wacko" than those truly controlling the Democrat agenda right now.

And did you really say the GOP "cheats"? I guess that's why it is ONLY the Democrat establishment that opposes voter ID laws and tighter election security. They opposed GA's new law which tightened up vote counts and accounting as well as voter verification but also EXPANDED voter access significantly.

About 70% of the country fully supports voter ID vs 20 something against. You only oppose election integrity measures... if you know you are benefiting from cheating.

Should be, could be, but not always.
When states fail, fed steps in.
Why? Do you think Washington is more competent? That they care more about a state than the people of the state do?

The federal government should return to ONLY those specific powers granted to it in the US Constitution. One of the biggest problems we have is that big government politics has made Washington a "player" rather than a referee. The Constitution specifies a means for changing the powers permitted to the federal government. For the last 100 years, Progressives have ignored the limitations and bypassed the specified means for legal change.

Power needs to be returned to the states where 50 separate experiments in self-government can create a "laboratory" for democratic republicanism. Failures... won't be copied. Successes... will. And together everyone will be elevated.

Hardly. She's every bit as wacko and ignorant as anyone on the other side
She doesn't control the Republican agenda. And using her as the "standard" a MUCH larger number of Democrats are "wacko"... "The Squad", Maxine Watters,...

Who celebrates her as a rising star?
