Jimbo has suspended indefinitely, 4 freshmen. Rumored to be Denver Harris (5’ 11” 175 DB ), Chris Marshall (6’3” 205 WR ), PJ Williams ( 6’4” 295 OL )and Anthony Lucas ( 6’5” 295 DL ). Supposedly for smoking weed in the locker room...

They just added insult to injury to the program. I hope they are expelled, their scholarships rescinded and used to get some players from the portal.

I completely support Jimbo’s actions

Rumors also floating around that LJ Johnson (redshirt freshman RB ) has quit the team. I hope this isn’t true.

He went to Olive Branch, then IMG Academy for a bit, then St. Benedict, then Powell during his high school career.

Ah...he's a gypsy. Gotta keep moving to be happy. Maybe he will make a stop at UT for a spring or maybe a year before he gets the itch to git again.

Even if any of this true I’m just not convinced he would be good for the Vols. I was told when he was in high school by one his staff members when I ask where he was going…”we’ll know when he trots out on the field for his first game. And even then with WN nothing is safe”. He didn’t want him last year. Garner and UT didn’t pursue him that hard especially in comparison to other schools. I was even told that if the kid wasn’t in Knoxville that they probably wouldn’t have pursued at all.

Agreed. Some kids peak too early and quit working thinking it’ll sustain. Then they just drop off into oblivion.
