WandaVision on Disney+

Loved the finale outside of them not expanding on the point of Evan Peters character
I liked it overall, I was kinda surprised there wasn't a Dr Strange cameo, but overall I think they did an awesome job. As for Evan Peters I think marvel's whole point was to mess with viewers and keep them guessing. From a storyline point of view I think Agatha summed it up when she said she couldn't use the real body because he was dead on another continent.

I have a few questions in the first episode didnt the cops say there is no town of Westview?

I understand Agatha was controlling fake Pietro but she also gave him super speed with that necklace?

And they never revealed who the original person of interest was that Jimmy mentioned.

Anyone have answers to these?

That’s a good point. I was thinking he might’ve been the character that was under witness protection they alluded to earlier in the series, and I guess he still could be. But like I said I loved it besides that, and I think a lot of people set themselves up for disappointment with a some of the fan theories they were throwing around in regards to Dr. Strange

Even up until the end I thought an end credits scene was gonna show her arrive at the Sanctum Sanctorum. I don’t think it was too far fetched to think Dr. Strange would show up.

Great show and the finale really felt like a strong superhero fight. I really want to know what angle they were playing with Agatha's "husband." Are we really to believe she was just a stand in as Agatha's husband so get Agnes' character could fit into Wanda's world? They didn't address her pet rabbit either other than it was a familiar.

A little disappointed we didn't get more of a lead in into the Multiverse of Madness with a cameo from Dr. Strange.

I hate to say it but that was a pretty massive letdown.

Evan Peters' casting as QS basically ends up being a troll job. The aerospace engineer ended up being the nobody. I guess they tecnically kinda set up the multiverse maybe in the second post-credits scene. PB was trolling that the person he wants to work with is himself. Overall a good show with a pretty flat ending IMO. I guess the takeaway for me is....I'm not paying attention to any damn internet chatter about The Falcon and Winter Solider.

I think that was a very terrible decision; someone should be punched for that.

Given how powerful her reality warping power was, you would think he would have known about this.

Cant say I’m absolutely ecstatic about the finale, but overall this was a great show. I think ultimately if you’re Marvel here you kind of have to be able to “pre-emptively read the room.”

Meaning, you should have known by the tone, mystery, and backstory of the show you were making that the people were going to want serious future implications of the MCU after a few episodes. Leaving us without that is a bit of a sour taste.

Basically.... if you were going to announce the presence of mutants, this was the time to do it. If you weren’t, you definitely shouldn’t have teased it.

I thought it was a great show until the final 2 episodes, and those knocked it down to a good show with a very “meh” ending.

I’m really, really hoping they didn’t bring Evan Peters back for the payoff of a dong joke. If that’s the last of him then Marvel will likely see a backlash. That alone left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I wonder that it isn't the last we see.
I wonder if being under direct control of Agatha like that, being hex'd, and being hit by Wanda's blast might wind up mutating him. Kinda like how Monica Rambo changed from going in and out of the hex.

I even think that is lame. Evan Peters' QS was by far one of the most popular things about the Fox X-Men series. Disney trolling the Marvel fans by teasing multiverse implications by casting him then being a pseudo-QS only for him to end up being some random dude is just.....bad. You would think they would have learned from the IM3 Mandalorian backlash. It's one thing for things they teased to be end up being nothing because of fan theory (i.e. the aerospace engineer). But they chose to cast Evan Peters and do all this, so this one is on them and if it turns out that that was it for EP then they deserve every bit of backlash they get.

This is leaving a bad taste in my mouth for the supposed live action Spiderverse now, and I'm wondering if most of that rumor and speculation is BS

You have to remember that it isn't Marvel that's releasing information. All the stuff we're hearing is 2nd and 3rd hand information from nerd/entertainment websites and Twitter.

Over all I was pretty satisfied with the conclusion of the show. Thought there was some pretty emotional wrap up with the Visions and the kids. Nice action.

Disappointed there wasn’t some major payoff for the multiverse or lead in to mutants. Ultimately that was all internet speculation and unfair to hold against the show.

Ehhhh I mean.... they kind of asked for it with the QS hoax

I thought the ending was really good and opens up all sorts of directions they can take the future movies. It sounds like this will be a single series and most likely won’t have a second season. Overall, it was very creative and not a complete re-hash of all the super hero movies.

For the Spiderverse stuff, sure. But they brought all the Evan Peters, QS stuff on themselves.

I mean unless they retcon it or have some bigger plans, the Evan Peters casting makes zero sense to me. Why even go there? Why troll your own fanbase that you've done a very good job of mostly catering to? I'm thinking this is going to backfire on them and rather significantly if it doesn't actually go somewhere. And honestly after their reveal.....it really doesn't make any sense in their storyline.

Apparently Marvel wanted Aaron Taylor-Johnson to reprise his role of Pietro Maximoff for WandaVision but WanderVision director Matt Shakman thought that would be too confusing for the fanbase.....

That doesn't make any sense at all. In the context of their show and explanation (so far at least) it would make perfect sense to bring back Aaron Taylor-Johnson. And how in the hell would he come to the conclusion that casting the OTHER QS would NOT confuse the fanbase and at the least build up expectations. Peters casting only makes sense from a 4th wall perspetive i.e. OMG IT'S THE X-MEN UNIVERSE QUICKSILVER. The way they played it out it could have literally been anyone else.....but making it Evan Peters would appear to be a calculated move to anyone with common sense but so far looks like.....zero payoff other than they got to troll their fanbase.

I'm sorry but that explanation is quite stupid if Shakman actually thought that and I have a hard time believing someone like Kevin Feige wouldn't have a bigger say considering this is his baby overall.

Elizabeth Olsen is saying the show is going to have a “Luke Skywalker-like” appearance.

As much as I love MCU, they don’t have a character that would make that kind of impact at this point. I’m sure whatever they have planned will be exciting but so many factors were in play for Mandalorian’s finale that the MCU just can’t replicate that kind of surprise.

Yeah this turned out to be bulls***. I guess it was supposed to be Evan Peters but they botched that.
