Russia in historic foreign debt default, report says

Russia has the money to make a $100m payment and is willing to pay, but sanctions made it impossible to get the payments to international creditors.

The $100m interest payment was due on 27 May. Russia says the money was sent to Euroclear, a bank which would then distribute the payment to investors.

But that payment has been stuck there, according to Bloomberg News, and creditors have not received it.

Because Russia wants to pay and has plenty of money to do it, he denied that this amounts to a genuine default, which usually occur when governments refuse to pay, or their economies are so weak that they cannot find the money.

"Everyone in the know understands that this is not a default at all," RIA Novosti quoted him. "This whole situation looks like a farce."

We won the war in iraq both times.
Afghanistan wasnt a military failure.
Syria we have like 500 special forces helping the kurds, even for us that's not a war.

And in none of the recent fights did we deploy anywhere close to 200k.

I'm not sure how we won in Iraq the second time. Considering the rise of extremists and how many people ended up being displaced from their homeland.

Wrong thread for this but Ras is correct on this one. My Father in Law, whom i love and respect deeply, is dead at least partially because of it.

Wife called 911 when she got to her parents home and her dad was sick. 60yo excellent carpenter who still physically worked every day of his life. Ambulance took him to hospital here in Charlotte which IMMEDIATELY told our entire family he was quarantined and NOBODY could see him at all, period, for 21 fecking days. Twenty. One. Fecking. Days. Told this day 1. Upon arrival at the hospital. My wife spent 21 days literally doing nothing else but trying to get updates on his condition, sitting in a hospital waiting area, trying to get in touch with hospital admin, contacting news agencies, you name it. All day. Every day. Never once got in to see him.

Day 21.01...she is at his side every moment of visiting hours holding his hand, reading scripture to him, playing music, etc while he is in medically induced coma. Day 24 my wife records audio on her phone of Dr saying he is gonna refuse feeding FIL thru tube bc "he isnt improving" (starve/kill him so they can get new patient in same bed and get big covid/vent $ from the gov from a new patient) wife plays said audio for supervisor, then threatens media ....then she gets sit down with hospital brass. Imagine that. So. .to recap...hospital kidnaps FIL for 21 days, wont let anyone see him...wont allow family to remove him from hospital either to seek treatment elsewhere. 21 days later when next see him, hes in a coma...3 days later they try to kill him...he is NEVER seen lucid again, never able to speak to loved ones, hangs on til day 37 before finally dying. From some point before day 21 to day 37, he was never even treated with any drugs for covid. No antiviral drugs. They wouldn't allow ivermectin or any other therapeutics, they simply kept coma induced, fed him thru a tube, and gave antibiotics if and when he developed secondary infections. Thats it. He never received the antiviral drugs which were actually effective in other cases and states. At all. My wife has all of his medical records now with the help of a lawyer.

So you got a couple things wrong:

1. You cannot just "go somewhere else " we were threatened repeatedly to be arrested by cops like you for simply trying to...

2. You cannot even get in to SEE YOUR OWN DAD for 21 fecking days

3 . These jackass Drs enforcing this who threatened to have my wife arrested if she brought ivermectin to the hospital WERE NOT EVEN TREATING her dad. They just knocked him out, and let his weakened body fight this on its own from a comatose state. He lost . So did we. Wife, 3 kids, 7 grandkids....

3. The illegal, unconstitutional bullsheit overreach and trampling of our rights that took place during Covid was a fecking disgrace. From hospital bullsheit like this, to forced shut downs of privately owned businesses, to forcing people to wear masks when we KNEW good and damn well it was all a bunch of bullsheit since the data from the very beginning showed a mortality rate of 0.2 %.....ZERO POINT 2 PERCENT...and even that number is BS unless you are dumb enough to believe that influenza (the flu) which has killed a couple hundred thousand Americans every year in recorded history just magically skipped 2020 and 2021....i am not foolish enough to believe that, but maybe you are. So with those deaths removed we are down to maybe 0.1% ??? 0.15%???
