So basically a shell with a JDAM-like kit attached. Genius. I do wonder how the electronics deal with the concussion of the firing process, but thankfully engineers much smarter than I seem to have worked that out. Go get 'em, Ukraine!!

"Enemies of humanity".....really? Your hyperbole knows no bounds. ROTFLMAO
The issue is instead of it being a couple thousand dollars for a shell, it's now well over a million.

Works great for limited engagements, but if we were fighting the Russians in large scale battles the usefulness via availability goes way down.

It seems like Ukraine is hitting oil and weapons depots inside russia. Another burned today. They are saying Ukraine is taking away their resupplies. Also seems russia is terrified that Ukraine will hit the bridge that goes from russia to Crimea. It would have to be a juicy target lol.

The JDAM kit is MUCH cheaper than that. Basically a fin and GPS guidance kit fitted on an otherwise dumb bomb. Is the kit for arty rounds really over $1MM??

Excalibur rounds have come down to around $68K each.
