Another $4.5B to Ukraine from the pockets of the American taxpayer. Yippee.
That's us tax dollars that could actually be useful at home. Needlessly spending billions is causing some big issues in case you didn't notice. The Afghanistan War, by the numbers:
US troops killed: 2,309 (Ukraine: 0)
US troops injured: 20,660 (Ukraine: 0)
Taliban members killed: 72,000
Afghan national security forces killed: 65,596 (Russian KIA: 25K+)
Afghan civilians killed: 38,480
US taxpayer dollars spent: $2,000,000,000 (2 trillion) (Ukraine: $54,000,000,000 (54 billion or about 1/40th of Afghanistan))
As wars go, this proxy situation is a great place to be for us. And far, far cheaper - especially when our 20K injured soldiers are considered.
That two trillion was over two decades. Ukraine hasnt even been a year. And that money was spent by US on US stuff serving the US.The Afghanistan War, by the numbers:

It’s not since they were never a threat to us other than their nuclear arsenal.
Curious logic. Was Germany a threat to us during WWII?
Germany wasn't gonna invade us. They had no missiles that could hit us.
Yet, most reasonable, rational folks would agree that we did the right thing.
But in your view... 104,812 Americans died in Europe for no reason.
"America First" mantra is the epitome of "Karen-ism" here. People like you want it all, but are willing to sacrifice nothing.
We stayed out of the war in Europe (for the most part) for the first couple of years, what material we were sending England or Russia had to be paid in advance with hard currency. Then we had lend/lease, granted not all of that was paid back but what we're doing now is just giving Ukraine the material to fight this war. It should be the Europeans funding this fight if they want to halt Russian expansion.
Germany did have invasion plans of the USCurious logic. Was Germany a threat to us during WWII?
