Hasn't taken it seriously enough? By that I assume you mean he had no idea his military was so poorly trained, under equipped, unmotivated and too poorly lead to engage in war with a lesser foe. Lets say Putin decides to send in a massive reserve force. Are they going to be any more capable than what came before? Not likely. There may be more of them and that will be a problem. But it also means that Muscovite and St Petersburg kids, fathers and brothers are going to start dying and going missing in Ukraine. That could be very bad for Mr Putin.

Also Xi and Putin are going to have a set down next week. I'll be surprised if Putin isn't told to knock off the nuclear weapons talk. As it is right now Xi doesn't have to worry about being pulled it to this conflict and they are also benefitting greatly because of it. If Russia starts dropping nukes in Ukraine it's going to be difficult for Xi to continue to support Russia without putting themselves at risk.

You may also have noticed Xi has been very quiet since about March or April. After seeing Russias vulnerabilities and blunders on display I'm sure he realizes he's the Alpha dog of the two. Xi may very well set the tone for what happens next.

I doubt Russia retakes the Kharkiv to Izyum losses in the next few days. Those are probably gone for a while, maybe for good depending on how Russia wants to play this.

That's kind of sick, especially considering the huge casualties Ukraine has taken the last couple weeks in these counter attacks (many of which end in total failure, especially around Kherson).

Oh Dear... looks like the Ukrainians have advanced to the Russia/Ukraine border north of Kharkiv. Going to Moscow and Vladivostok soon???

I am not keeping up with this worthless “war” like some of the rest of you. Why? Because I really don’t care to be honest. I have many more important things to concern myself with here in my country.

No it’s mainly aimed at the rubes in here that seem to believe every tweet or random thing put out there. Even ones who during the flu outbreak bashed the media saying they were lying are now eating the media slop that’s being put out like a fat kid at a buffet. Oh Russia is doing this and losing this blah, blah, blah. Ukraine is doing this and gaining this blah, blah, blah. All the while our glorious government gives the corrupt Zelensky and his cronies billions upon billions or our money. Only to learn a significant portion of that money cannot be accounted for.

What truth? The truth that’s being fed by tweets? Lol. Russia is propaganda and so is Ukraine. Why any of you would believe anything that’s being reported is beyond me. But I do kind of get it. Conditioning has shaped your view of certain things and you go with it. I like checking in every now and then to see the same ones talking about this stuff.

Others told the villagers they weren’t there to fight Ukraine, but to “protect us from America.”

The Russian people are going to have to handle Putin. His army is motivated by fear from behind. He cannot stop at this point. This will get uglier.
