You got many proof that they were not legit? I'm still waiting on this grassroots insurgency for Crimea after 8 years. I'm sure I will be waiting another 8 years for a grassroots insurgency in these new areas.

Well the only country who could legitimately conduct them wasn’t involved so yeah right there that shows them to be totally fake.

If you seriously believe any, any referendum on this planet would pass with 98-99% of the vote, you have fully drank the cool-aid and are in tankie territory now.

I'm sure armed Russian soldiers going door to door to collect votes didn't have an effect at all. Or counting an entire housing block as one vote. Or setting up drop boxes in city-centers with armed guards didn't affect the vote either. Totally legit!!

I'm in the black community and have seen us vote 90%+ for any democrat on the ticket for most of my life.

Every conflict you mentioned here is intended ti have Russia stretched out over multiple fronts in the hopes of draining Russia to the point that it returns to the levels of 1990s under Yeltsin.

Depending on which size of the Ukrainian or Russian Airforce you want to use, Ukraine's airforce is anywhere from 10x smaller to 25x smaller. So this would at least be the equivalent of Russia running 170 sorties a day.

But of course this is after Russia alledgely had control of the skies and completely wiped out Ukraines ability to launch sorties at all. 17 seems pretty good for a dead guy. Especially if they keep it up

During those 8 years the Russians were already there. Bringing the shelling into the original breakaway regions. During those same 8 years those Russians were shelling the Ukrainian side, that's the side occupied now. I doubt THOSE people consider the Russian liberators under this argument.

Also if that is the case why is Russia having to triple their manpower to hold these thankful and happy liberated areas? 300,000 Seems like a lot of conscripts to keep around a 4,000,000 happy and grateful civilians under control. For reference that's 7.5% of the population. The highest ratio of police officers/peace keepers I can find elsewhere is 1% in Iran. Even if you double the pop to pre war levels it's still a stupid high rate of peacekeepers.

I have been saying it for a while. Russia owes 70+ years of no invasion to NATO. But that doesnt fit in with the message of paranoia so its ignored.

No they were not. Just stop. No one was being forced to go to the polls. Election observers didn't even say that.
